- The kid in the video is my nephew. He saved his birthday money to buy his dad (my brother in-law) a PS4 for Christmas. His mom (my Sister) filmed this. She went vertical for a cinematic effect.
My nephew is the most selfless person I know and did this genuinely to make his dad happy. He does stuff like this all the time.
Raising that kid right. Not just because he got you a PS4, but because he's not like 90% of kids that just thinks about themselves.

I remember when I got my first paycheck when I was 16. It was a couple of days before my dad's birthday. I went to the florist in town and sent him a dozen red roses at his workplace. It is not the same as a PS4, but my dad was my hero and I loved him very much. Stay as close to your parent's as possible. In a blink of an eye they are gone. When we were going through my dad's things after he died, I found one of the roses pressed in his bible with a note that said, " From my baby girl. Thought enough of her old daddy to get him roses". A PS4 is nothing, red roses are nothing, but that love between a child (male or female) is the best thing you can have. Much respect for this young man👏👏

He saved up all the money to get it for his dad and possibly guarantee himself some bonding time over games with him. What does it matter who uses the gift? They both will and possibly the mom will join in, too. As long as they get to have fun playing.

This is so precious! There is so much more Joy in giving. I remember buying my parents things, but always wishing I could give them even more. For those of you criticizing this kid's gift.... Kids will sometimes buy their parents things that they (kids) want themselves. That's okay! Because their hearts are in the right place. They learn as they get older (if someone teaches them) to keep their ears open to find out what Dad or Mom wants. This kid and Dad have beautiful ❤️'s.
