sounds good, yes I have a guild, L5 and a D'Angelico. I have a similar Joe Pass for road trips, very old. I changed the pickups to Gibson 57s. still cant get the tone. What strings do you use?
Nice video, just been reading different Obit's of Horace Silver- what a great Composer, he had the funk from the very start. Here how he influenced people like Herbie Hancock etc..
Hey man, you're able to improvise souding good with, more or less, one lick on a major seventh arpeggio (and only one pattern) - you've great talent and you should take some lessons by some great jazz teacher, as you could really become a great improviser and musician
What are you talking? I see that he is using that shape as well quite often, but hey he definitely mastered that lick or made it his own language and can phrase it how he wants and use it over any progression ... This guy right here is already a great musician and improviser, although I understand that taking lessons is sometimes useful, but there are other ones who need it more than him
(this man is in the 22 hall of fame of best jazz players with Django and wes) , take lessons is that a joke,?or you Can t notice a maestro when you hear and see one? he appenrently use a pseudo and i don t snitch , but if you knew ..ahahaha....

NICE i have the same guitar i was wondering what your strings are. Wait i saw some really great Benson runs there
Any way you could post the rhythm guitar part? Great playing
By the way what’s the recording tracks that you use to make your backing track? How did you do that?
niiice backing track
VERY Benson-quesque.
can you tell me how high your strings are....i have a joe pass guitar cant get those octaves like you cheers
a good guitar tech can get your strings extremely low without buzzing. try researching techs that work on jazz guitars specifically.
*Hear meant to say!
What guitar is it?
