These all look so tasty! Catherine, it seems to me that years ago, Taco Bell used to sell a delicious taco salad in an edible tortilla “bowl”. Do you think you could do a copycat recipe of that? If anyone can, it’s you!! My mouth is now watering for that! Thank-you for showing us how to satisfy our Taco Bell cravings without leaving the house!! ❤️❤️

Omg we still have the salad here but every time we get it the shell tastes really bad so I made it at home I used to work at a restaurant so Ik you can take a burrito and fry it in oil to make the bowl you have to use something to push it down so you’re making the bowl or you can buy one you put in the oven n bake I’ve done the oven way but like it better fried lol we used to use ckn with fresh fruit omg I miss it so bad I have Crohn’s disease and can’t eat a salad anymore lol. I would love to see what you come up with. Enjoy guys
I also love taco salads…but it’s the bowl part that you can’t get outside of a restaurant. The packaged ones are terrible, imo. Maybe fry the flour tortillas like Catherine did, but cut in smaller parts, and include that with the salad part? Not as good, no…but, I bet Catherine can come up with a solution that will work, and still be pretty easy to do at home and taste good too!!

The crunch wrap looks really good, and I might try it with jalapenos instead of olives, and no sour cream on anything ever for me. I've never had an enchirito, but I'm going to have one now! Mexican pizza is messy, but delicious. I just cooked up some ground beef yesterday, so one of these will be dinner today.
Black refried beans give the Mexican pizzas an even better flavor. I've made these many times and they are delicious.

I think Taco 🌮🔔 Bell also had a " Mexi melt" which was very good. Nothing else on their menu is like that delicious selection was.

I use to work at Taco Bell in the mid 90's. I can say from experience, their food never looked that good nor that filling. I remember when I worked there, they came out with the double decker taco and the frito burrito. Both of which I think they discontinued now, I was so happy when they brought the mexican pizza back. They quit making it too, until everybody complained about it. My two most favorite Taco Bell items were the Nacho Bellgrande and the Mexican Pizza.

Catherine that's me I like onions in any of my Mexican recipe. Anytime I cook ground beef I add onion's. They add favor but their also very healthy for you. Yelp my husband adds jalapenos in his. When I make meatloaf. I put some of his to the side because his meatloaf I add chopped jalapenos. He loves his meatloaf.

My favorite had always been the same as Thomas and he was right about the one black olive. 🙄
But then I discovered the gordita and that's all I ever got until they messed it up. And now their chalupa is like the gordita used to be. They just make up names for their food so they can add whatever ingredient they want. A chalupa is a flat crispy corn tortilla with refried beans and cheese. But Taco Bell's chalupa is now a gordita and they don't have a real chalupa on the menu. 😐
Taco Bell takes so many liberties naming their food and most people don't know what's in each menu item. I guess that's how they got away with adding one olive slice to the enchiritas! 😉

Mexican Pizza was always my absolute favorite at Taco Bell!! Then they went away and I was sad 😢 but, now I know how to make them, and since I like them with just the beans (no meat) anyway, super easy! Thanks!

Recently Taco Bell advertised the Mexican Pizza had returned. I bought one and it's nothing like the original! It'S on a regular pizza crust! don't waste your time and money on it! Katherine's receipe looks exactly like the original! can't wait to try it!

Would love a copycat of their Fiesta Potatoes! They can be substituted for meat in these recipes if you’re into that kind of thing. The little side dish of them with the nacho cheese and sour cream is a guilty pleasure of mine from there 🤤
"I" roast spud squares with TACO SEASONING on them in the air fryer. I scrub 2 good sized spuds and cut them into small squares ("I" prefer smaller chunks) and toss them in the seasoning mix. Then pop them into the air fryer. On it's highest setting for about 30 minutes or so. I swoosh them around every 10 minutes, or so. Viola, fiesta spuds!

@@ameliasparkles13 "IF" you have a convection oven even better because that's all an air fryer really is. A tiny convection oven. If not, just your highest setting and then broil for about 15 minutes stirring every 5 or so minutes. I DO use Katherine's taco seasoning mix. We made your Copy Cat Enchiritos and they were DELICIOUS! Now we need to try your Copy Cat Crunch Wraps and Copy Cat Mexican Pizza! We have started making our refried beans the way you do also Cathrine and thank you so much for showing us that too because it adds so much more flavor to the refried beans! We won't make them any other way from now on. So very delicious!! The Mexican pizza from Taco Bell was my late husband's favorite item on their menu. When they temporarily brought it back here awhile back we went to taco bell and got a few Mexicans pizzas in honor of my husband. Tbh it wasn't at all like they use to make it and we were highly disappointed. So I have no doubt making our own would taste much better! I can't wait to try all three of these recipes! We love Mexican food! We will most likely go by your recipe to the T! All except the olives... Those are a hard pass for my entire family lol 😂!! The last time I went to a TB, I ordered a soft taco. There was maybe a Tbs of meat, VERY little cheese, and sprinkle of lettuce. 😡 That was a year ago and will never go back. Thanks so much for your video💓🌹

I worked at Taco Bell as a teenager in the 60’s and they had an item called a Bell Burger. It was great. Try that sometime.

Also....I've made the crunch wrap in the past from your recipe and it's AWESOME!!!
We all know with the prices of meat today and that we need to stretch it anyway we can so here's a tip I use: I cook and scramble hamburger, to every pound and a half I add one cup (or more) of white or brown rice, add one medium sliced onion, portion it out by the pound and put in freezer bags and freeze. This way they are cooked and ready ahead of time for any meal I want to make. You can't taste the rice and the hamburger goes farther.

I love your videos for taco bell recipes! I personally miss, the taco pizza. However, I'm turning 40 in three years, not like I'm 21 anymore. Must eat when I love, but healthier! I'm a full time manager, mother, and wife myself, so... I found that you can cook cabbage in twelve minutes in an instant pot, I've tried, works great, but, mushy.. you should in deed replace shells with the cabbage.. at least for taste, just to try. In 25 minutes the instant pot cooks frozen chicken that you can shred! You really need to try that machine out, or at least see what it can do. I cooked a whole roast setting cooking time to 90 minutes! I'm not trying at all to boast instant pots for you to buy, but I'll say, very well makes the meat preparation more tender and juicy for the delicious tacos. Wife to wife, I'm sure hubby will definitely approve!

I love these recipes. I did the crunchwrap. It turned out perfect. I quit going to Taco Bell when they did away with my Frito Burrito. They made me so mad I never went back lol. But I do like the crunchwrap so I now make them at home :

I worked at Taco bell in 1976. It was my favorite. Than I worked for them in the late 80s and made it with green sauce.

Great Taco Bell copycat recipes. Love your channel. I doctor my refried beans with sautéed onions, in bacon grease, green chile (optional), and lots of cheese. If they seem a bit dry, just add a little bit of water, untill you get the consistency, you want, delicious. I use homemade beans, and mash them, myself or canned.
I just know that's good! I would add refried beans for a first layer and green chillies or green olives with pamentos. thank you!
I used to ask for extra olives and sour cream. They would put two and all the sour cream on the bottom!
Showed my husband this comment and he just shook his head and said yep, that's how they did me too.

You can wet the tortilla with your finger dipped in water, on each side where you want it to stick together, it will stick to itself. All these look delicious!

Easiest way to 'moisten' a paper towel: Thoroughly wet your clean hands under running water. Grab a dry paper towel, and dry your hands.
Towel is perfectly moistened.

I make taco bell stuff at home all the time so we don't have to go to taco bell, but I buy the packet seasoning by taco bell taste just like the real thing lol
I replace cabbage anytime a receipt calls for lettuce(less soggy) & replace beef w/blk or refried beans cuz youngest son is vegetarian. Thnx for this! yur the best.! 👍❤️🤠✝️
