@@alihsaleem good question, lost his way a bit, a few domestic charges with his wife, drug charges, I don’t know man, everything went down hill for him..
I remember that season so vividly. Every time Barba touched the ball it felt like he was gonna do something amazing. Literally every time he returned a kick he would break at least 2-3 tackles. Also i think Josg Reynolds was massively underrated for the dogs, imo he was the heart of the team.

bulldogs had a crazy team that year, big ball playing forwards frank pritchard and big sam kasiano up front, along with ennis, eastwood, tollman & graham, the mid season signings of sam perrett & krisnan inu along with barba at the back all gelled together for some entertaining! footy cant forget the pest reynolds, i legit cannot remember the other halfs name that year..

Barba 2012 in my opinion, was the greatest performance of any player in a single year. Followed by 09 Hayne and 2021 Trbojevic. Every time he touched the ball there was just this excitement for what was to come.

Turbo best by a mile, Haynes was only for the last part of the season and turbo did all his in only 15 games imagine he played the whole season
stats don't lie turbos 2021 blew them all out of the water.. not even close. I believe willie mason and Justin horo said if you think someone had a better year then turbos 2021 then you don't know rugby

As a Dogs supporter he's the most exciting player i have watched in my lifetime so far. I remember literally every time he touched the ball i was on the edge of my seat expecting him to do something magical.

Morris brothers in the Bulldogs were one of the key player for that team and the Bulldog was impressive those days, with Ben Barba ohhh...what an entertaining team to watch

I’m a bulldogs fan. It’s a shame he couldn’t keep it together off the field. We wouldn’t have made grand final in 2012 without him. I wish we had more like him, but they don’t come around often. But a wasted talent, he would still be playing if he kept his nose clean.

The Bulldogs in their best years were unstoppable. They completely dominated from 2004-2015, from El Masri, a young JT, SBW, Big Willie, O’Meley, Asotasi, to Idris to Ben Barba to Graham.
