Hayne is proof that the NRL needs to do more to protect players from themselves. These kids go from nothing, to everything at an age when you think your bulletproof and they need someone there who doesn't want to make anything from them, to just look after them and guide them.
NFL decision was the start of the end for this great footballer.

For sure one of the most overrated players in nrl history. We used to have John's, sterling, locker, Kimberley, Girdler , Gidley, Harrison, Fittler list goes on the modern players are just not in the same league. Here alot about greatness and really just lost of overused and greatly exaggerated sales puff in the nrl
Allow he has had two of the greatest individual seasons in the 21st century whilst dragging a sub par eels side in each dally m season. He was so good in 2014 that he drew with thurston, the same year thurston won the whole thing and parramatta didnt even make top 8. Goes to show just how good this man was in his prime
I've seen these players in sub par teams that manage to look good but when among actual good players they choke because they just aren't that good. They always have some excuse someone else to blame. The better players are winners and they win.
@@maxmenzel1375 Fair enough but lets not forget that hayne was the best player on NSW as a winger and when he was made full back he single handedly carried that blues team against a stacked maroons side in 2014.
Not to mention he led Australia in try scoring in 2013 standing out in the most outrageously stacked Australia side in recent memory with prime slater, thurston, cronk, inglis, morris, smith etc.
