Somewhere, on a remote island, a Harpy is hatching her egg, but a vicious creature is going to steal it from her. She will have to defend it at any cost.

Love chimera it's one of the best short movies.it made me feel several emotions, and left me wanting more.if that's not expertised movie making I don't know what is . I hope that I have a chance to see a full length movie of the maker's one day.

Thank you :) it will never happen :/ I mean we never know. But with my old school. It will be difficult to do or impossible. I mean I would like to do it and with better works but I just have 2.5% of the movies. So even if we made it at 6. We will not have the rights on our movies.

I think the chimera was supposed to be the baby in the egg.Heat should have killed it,it showed ashes in the shell,but it was reborn in the ashes.The mother Harpy(half bird half woman) gave her life for it,maybe that changed it somehow into a harpy phoenix hybrid.The Gorgon was sure hideous,perfect for the classic antagonist role.

With the distinct exception of those mothers who would horribly murder their living offspring via abortion clinics. There's no beautiful love there. Only horror and pain of being ripped to pieces and being cruelly torn out of the only safe secure nurturing place you've ever known by a Josef Mengela ilk Dr. sworn to protect and cause no harm. Yours' was for mother as was mine who've lost that beauty and have instead turned it into a cruel monstrosity.

This was pretty good. Lighting and texturing were good, sound design was very good. The Medusae creature effects were fantastic! The movements of it were sleek and very lifelike, the scales and skin, coloration, the face and snakelings, even the unhinging jaw was all superb, truly a work of art. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of the owl creature. Her movements were very stiff and awkward and clumsy looking. It completely took you out of the experience. Her design was good, the feathers and talons and colors, even her face and beak were all good. Just her movements were off. Of course, it's not that I could even come close to something like this, and I do appreciate the enormous amount of hard work that goes into a project like this one.

The "Owl" is a harpy and IT WAS GORGEOUS it depicted the movements of an actual "Bird" it had smooth movement and flight but I couldn't agree with you less having the "GORGON" it was not medusa (medusae?) Medusa is a name! GORGON is the name of the creature the scale were very undepicted and clumsy it could be changed :)

Fabulous everyone! Storyline is perfect! So hard to believe birds are dinosaurs and dinosaurs 🦖 are birds. Just think 💭, what if: just what if nature was allowed to continue to evolve? Man would never entered the picture and dinosaurs would be the ruling class. Maybe even stuck in a medieval world with kings and queens, princes and knights...but no hominids. Such a cool world it would be. But....I do believe nature would always war with itself. It is in nature’s DNA 🧬 to fight to live....maybe it would be better if life did not evolve...who knows ...right...gr8 film. Loved it. So well told and illustrated...

A very well done piece of art.
Nice start with the nine similar stones that self-organized by the waves into a pattern symbolizing Nature’s intelligent-design and of course ESMA.
One can tell it was originally conceived revel-in and to educate the “profane” what the Mystery School has in mind for everyone’s future... but true-Nature is always awesome.
Highly symbolic artwork in that... out of the conflict and chaos a new phoenix will rise from the ash of that past... like old civilizations? The harpy is a bird and hi-human chimera, the gorgon is snake and lo-human chimera. Ancient symbiology like the sphinx is a chimera... Actually Homo sapiens does not fit into the other hominids of Earth. “Somehow” genetics has been spliced into our species from ancient civilizations beyond Nature’s past cataclysms (see thunderbolts) as described by Seth (whose knowledge was “bridged” in by Jane Roberts.) Homo sapiens are actually chimera... a blend of “beast” and “Man” giving our term “human”... surprised! This vid is about the journey of “us” once past the symbolism.
This vid is kind of a “worship piece” to help mystery schoolers believe they are a step ahead of the rest of our species, like a “chosen” few. They get enjoyment that the “profane” enjoy the art by can’t piece together the symbolism of how the secret-societies are planning to be the only thing left rising from their “great works” egg.
Nature is at work in deeper way than just the perceived... where the ends(hatching a baby phoenix) is never justified by the means(creating false-adversaries and forced-chaos and of course false-cataclysmic events).

The ending is not what I was expecting. Given the name, I thought there'd be a twist where the baby had somehow turned into an actual chimera. Was the mother a harpy? Her design was lovely overall, same with the gorgon and scaling/lighting!
@@Luniarah Yeah, I thought phoenix at first too because of her coloration. Her anatomy is what threw me. Maybe that was the chimera part? That maybe she was both?

A chimere is a garment worn by Anglican bishops in choir dress, and, formally as part of academic dress. A descendant of a riding cloak, the chimere resembles an academic gown but without sleeves, and is usually made of scarlet or black cloth.
That was a phoernix and the bad snake was trying to steel the egg. The only egg she had to protect her young she got bitten by the snake but eventually she was victorious in killing the snake but in the end she circumed to the poison and turned into ash but the egg hatched and a new Phoenix is born.
