I’ve been separated from my husband for a year now. At some point, we talked about reconciliation but now we dont communicate at all. I want to continue being married but I think he’s made up his mind to divorce. I want to talk about it but can’t bring myself to bring it up and ask for a chat. I’m battling that even as I type this. This video appeared at just the right time.

Thank you I needed to hear this. It's difficult because of my husband's mental health and generation gap. He pushes alot and I pull.

Sounds like you want her back as an emotional crutch.

How do you accept what she thinks feels and believes when its 100 % false ( dillusional)

You accept that she feels the way she does, but you don’t have to agree with it. We do this all the time whether we know it or not. We don’t agree with everyone all the time, but yet we still have good relationships with people. The difference is they feel safe expressing their feelings and beliefs with you. Feelings, beliefs can change, but you being a safe place for someone doesn’t. Marriage helper has great tools to get you back to that.
