@@lauragill2296 I know you're right, but they could have continued after. The only thing that made me against it is how show tend to become bad with time. But for the rest, I didn't have the feeling that the story was really over.
SPOILERS FROM SEASON 3
Except that Olaf is dead, nothing feels like an "end". A lot of questions remain (like what happened to Esme, who seems to say she wanted revenge on the Baudelaire when Olaf broke up, what happened to Olaf's mentors, is anyone dead in the fire? where is the sugar bowl now? and I could continue)) I don't read the books but I heard they had the same problem of unanswered questions, so the show could have "fixed" that (with the permission of the author of course).
Plus, the Baudelaire seems to have a lot of adventures then, according to what Beatrice Beaudelaire II told. Of course it made sense to stop the story there as Lemony lost their trace, but Beatrice could have done the narration. It would not have been the same as Lemony's narration, but with Lemony making comments from time to time, it would have been cool.
There is no more books, but it would have been cool to have more episodes, don't you think?

Nana Love there is no problem of unanswered questions in the books, the whole point of the books it to leave the readers asking questions. daniel handler himself said that he always intended to leave the ending of the books open to interpretation, because that’s the art behind the series. of course, you haven’t read the books, so you wouldn’t know that.

Actually it's mainly portrayed by Presley Smith and she had I belive 3 stunt doubles but Colby Cremers did most of the stunts. And they had a dummy baby that looked like presley and a stand in. And the woman who voiced Sunny in season one and two was Tara Strong but in season three Presley said all of her own lines.
