Neil does a great job on the show. He really balances the comedy and seriousness when it came to the performance and as a fan of the books and Mad Men as well, I tip my hat to him!

Solaya Huang If you payed attention, you would have known that I am right. In the Carniverous Carnival pt. 2, the Baudelaires see a flashback in the crystal ball, explaining VFD. When Lemony steps out onto the balcony, he sees Olaf sneak up behind Beatrice and stab her. He screams out in alarm, considering his wife just died. Also, Madam Lulu talks about "a girl in a butterfly costume" when telling Olaf his crimes after they met in the tent. This refers to Beatrice, who was wearing a butterfly costume at the VFD party. Also, in the theme song, Lemony Snicket can be seen typing on a typewriter. At the beggining of every two episodes, a letter is written to or about Beatrice. The letters just so "happen" to be typed on a typwriter. Or take his own words for example. At the end of season 1, Lemony, Poe, Count Olaf, and the Baudelairs sing a song titled "That's Not How The Story Goes." One of Lemony's lines is, and I quote, "I once loved a girl, and she thought well of me. We thought we'd be happy together. But now I'm alone, as you can well see. She's cold in her grave forever." This is talking about the love he shared with Beatrice before she was murdered. So, Beatrice isn't Lemony Snicket's wife, huh? How 'unfortunate' for you.

Of course, we can’t forget Olaf’s most convincing disguise:
A hospital loud-speaker.
The series was really well done, and the cast choices for this were phenomenal. Count Olaf, Mr. Poe, Carmelita Spats... they were all teriffic. I didn't even know that Neil Patrick Harris had such talent to pull this off.
My fave part from a series of unfortunate events was when jacques and Olivia walk into the village pub thing and jacques says "The jig is over as in your plot has failed as gaunte once said-" then count olaf says "shibobiishi bang" and jacques says "thats not what gaunte said" 😂😂😂
