I know right! SPOILERS: I read the books already so I knew Madame Lulu was gonna die but I didn’t know I was gonna grow so attached to her character! A little part of me wished they didn’t stick to the book and let her somehow survive the lions pit.

I have to say that this show by far has the best acting I've seen in a TV Show. The cast really puts in the effort and I love that!! I also love how ruthless the Count Olaf was in this season, especially during the Hostile Hospital episodes. They managed to top Season 1 and looking forward to Season 3.
Plus the storyline, the backstory... oh god. I'm such a huge fan.
Esme was so nice and when she pushed them through the elevator I was thinking she would do it then I doubted my self saying nah and then she did it 😫 1:18 this scene genuinely gave me goosebumps
This is one of the only shows that even comes close to the books as far as accuracy
And I appreciate that they follow the book a lot.
The eternal noir vibe and the black humor, just wow

They started filming Season 3 in january, Season 2 didnt start filming until 2 months after Season 1 aired and since S3 only has 8 episodes it might come out in December/January.

I like how they introduced Olivia Caliban before she appeared in the Carnivorous Carnival, they gave her a bit of backstory and then pushed her into a lion pit

This was such a great show! Shame to see it end. I was hooked. Was watching it at work and I laughed a bit. When I was at home and had a few I was laughing my butt off. The jokes are truly amazing and how they pick at each other all the time with real life jokes was awesome. I’m tempted to read the books

You should read them! I have been a fan since I was 6-7 and even though it has less jokes compared to the movie it is really interesting to see all the differences in the books and show. To me the biggest difference is violet’s inventions, like the grappling hook in book one and the ersatz rope in book six.

I love how they made commentary on the age and height differences in the prufrock prep episode they said
“Sitting there felt like an eternity
,even sunny looked bigger”

in a world too often governed by corruption and arrogance it can be difficult to stay true to ones philosophical and literary principles
I loved this series - it really did justice to the books, and the music, visuals and costuming were all excellent. Please release this on DVD!
