I was born and raised in Lake Forest. We lived in the Meadowood subdivision, near the corner of Waukegan Road and Deerpath Road. Went to Lake Forest High School, then to Florida for college. I remember Lake Forest fondly.

Hi Anna. If you want to capture the history of Lake Forest, check out the following streets: Lake, Mayflower, Green Bay Road and Ridge. 405 Mayflower is the old Schweppe estate that John G. Shedd gifted his daughter Laura for a wedding gift (the land was subdivided so you can drive in beyond the coach house - Shedd's other daughter was gifted a house on Lake (I think it's 1315 Lake.). Bill Wrigley's former house is also on Lake at 1345. 255 N Green Bay Rd is Lolita Armour's former house which is now for sale. 395 Green Bay Rd is the former house of Mt. T which is several houses to the N of Armour's and easy to find due to the lack of trees. Sadly Villa Turicum was torn down but the stairs to the lake are still there. Lots of David Adler designs in Lake Forest along with some others. Another Adler design is 700 Arbor Drive in Lake Bluff which was built for one of the Armours. Enjoy!

I own a second home in LF (I'm originally from ATL) and I'd like to offer some context:
The video I believe is driving through Elawa Farm Subdivision, located near the hospital. The first section is on Acorn Trail. I've been there in person, it's a street with huge manor-like homes. The second section is the rest of Elawa Farm. However, I believe other portions of this video were filmed at Conway Farms. If your gonna do this again, I would recommend going down Estate Lane, beautiful street with many historic homes.
