Absolutely the most clear and comprehensive video I have found so far. As a beginner this was far more helpful than other higher ranker results for "roll tack". Thanks!
Worst sports injury I ever witnessed was a high school sailor hit in the head by a 420 boom. Never again will I allow a high school sailor to step foot on one of our boats without a helmet.
The size of the roll can vary depending on conditions, the idea is to carry as much momentum thru the turn as possible and accelerate out of the turn. But yes, you’d be wise to carry a bailer regardless.

Thanks for this. Nice and clear.
Excellent!
Thanks Gary!
What's with the helmets? Are they en route to a skateboarding tournament?
If the boom hits their heads

What happens in high waves? This looks like it would allow an excess of water in the boat.
