420 Sailing - Tacking Perfection - With Erika Reineke & Liza Toppa

This week, Erika & Liza show us how to properly tack in the 420. We show multiple camera angles, both in the boat & from the coach boat, as well as some epic slow-motion footage.
Erika Reineke is a Four-time Collegiate All-American, Four-time College Singlehanded National Champion, 2017 Quantum Women's Sailor of the Year, and the 2017 US Rolex Yachtswoman of the Year. Erika, too, is an Olympic level laser radial sailor who has been coaching at Lauderdale Yacht Club many years now.
Liza is a two-time Collegiate National Champion. She is currently a student at the College of Charleston, and has many accolades under her belt in the sailing world.

To anyone watching this video to practice their roll tacking, I strongly advise against going bare foot like the crew is in this video, and to always wear closed toe shoes. There is a lot of force involved in vaulting across the boat during this maneuver, and you will have a very bad time if an individual toe catches all of that weight.
I broke my foot this weekend in exactly this way, and am land-bound for a couple of months as a result. Please learn from my mistake!

it looked good, i do it a bit different but i sail with a different boat so maybe this tactic works best for the 420
