For short you enter on the break of the low of the NRB but how can you have stop above the high of the entry bar, before the bar completes? Remember when you enter, the bar is still in play, So the high may have formed or may not have formed.

Hi Oliver, Thanks for this wonderful concept. I am an option trader, and I am going to try this. One thing I observed is that you say that the NRB "is taken out". That means, we Enter the trade after the close of the "take-out" candle. In the example 2, The high of the NRB candle was taken out. But, the next candle didn't trigger the high of the NRB candle. We missed the trade. But, you say you entered the trade and had $450 max potential profit. Did you enter the trade on the "take-out" candle itself and didn't wait for the close or "take-out"?

From my experience i would say the most important thing to sustain in market is nothing but discipline.. its not the strategy's nd its quite simple actually., but need practice .. i saw oliver's talk about keeping promise's before an year or so nd i didn't understand it enough then but now i do, if i have kept that discipline i would have made 4 times of my actual capital.. i am kind of person who having consistent profits for 4 days of a week and losing all that in the 5th day.. juz because i couldn't handle the losing trades and a losing day and limit further loses.. and at the end of the day when m analysing my trades, m weeping inside thinking omg what have i done. This happened to me over and over... and i guess i will over come this barrier too.. i know what i should do.. but can't do it 🙂
I can't say enough on this. I used this a lot in my paper trading. It works - experienced even greater gains when dealing with futures using same capital or slightly less I'm more comfortable doing this than trading at the open. I feel like my chances here is lot better. Thank you Mr Velez.

It's the 3rd time I have watched this video. It looks so simple but when I follow the strategy in certain Market condition I do really good. Other market conditions I get destroyed. It's hard 2 analyze what the market conditions are during the trade. Its always easy looking back. But during the trade u have no idea when 2 pull the trigger. U pull the trigger 3 times and lose. Decide the market isn't swinging enough. U decide 2 sit on your hands and the 4th one goes. U see it explode and not even pullback 2 give u an opportunity 2 buy in. Its Frustrating Then it finally gives u a chance 2 buy in off a pullback and it gives u a back handed slap 2 the face when u take the small colored change, baby bull 180 right off the 20ma in the direction of the 20ma. Story of my life haha 🤦🏻♂️ I know the strategy works though. Becuase when u look back. U see all the chances u could have made money
Just 2 help everyone out. I was struggling becuase I was being greedy and trying 2 catch the bottoms and tops of trends. By trading only when the 20ma is going either up or down with a decent slope. I know that I am in a trending market and not a ranging market. Once I stopped giving all my gains back in ranging markets. And not caring about getting the initial move into a trending market. I've been doing better. I just buy the pullback. Yeah, I missed the first move. But atleast with the pull back I know for sure that I'm not in a ranging market anymore.

I just want to know how do you rectify $1300 for dinner I am from South Africa and the dollar to rand ratio is currently close to 16 to 1. For 1000 ZAR I can give you the best restaurants in South Africa. For less than 100$. We're en what do you folks eat that costs 1300$ man.

About taxes, I meant the transaction tax, here in India we are suppose to pay a certain amount of tax on selling turnover of the transaction (roughly 0.1%) so if the amount of profit is less than that, we'll end up losing money or not making as much as it looks on screen. Depending on the timeframe you choose (eg: 1m, 2m, etc. to 15m+) the "cents" size of candles will be bigger. So theoretically you can adjust your minutes chart timeframe to give you 45 cent or less "trigger" candles. Does this mean this strategy works with just about any stock on any day all day long all year long?

well, you need a good brokerage set up with very low fees and taxes you need to speak to an accountant about that
