My advice to new investors: Buy good companies stocks and hold them as long as they are good companies. Just do this and ignore the forecasts and market views which are at best entertaining but completely useless.
Building a portfolio is just the start. Ongoing research and review is required to make sure the stocks are still appropriate and aligned with your goals.

I cannot believe you made this sound so easy. So I went to my chart and added the 200ema and the 20ema and it was just as described!! I cannot wait to use this! As soon as the 20 crossed the 200 every trade coming off the 20 went in the direction until it came back!! Wow that is powerful!!

My suggestion is for you to use a 20 EMA and a 200 SMA. 20 is a shorter period and therefore you want it to be more sensitive to price action. 200 is a longer period and therefore it does not need price action sensitivity, but instead needs smoothness, which the SMA provides

This vid actually makes a TON of sense! Simple, effective,easy to remember rules. He is correct: this game is about waiting. On the 2 minute, the waiting is not necessarily too long. The chop is right on the 20 ma on the inside bars. Stay out of that stuff!

I do have a question, when we’re looking for the entry point (for the candle to pass the previous small candle), should we go in right when it whicks past that point or do we need a break and close on the entire candle?

Watched this video the other day. Followed up by running through the daily 1 minute charts of each of my stocks. Found positive returns around 3.5% +/- 1.5% by using this strategy -- when it worked. (I take that success rate claim of 85% more as 4/5 or 3/4 instead of 6/7 or 5/6.) Today, I while live trading, saw the GrG pattern on a high volatility stock. Bought long with 1/2 my available cash. Saw the GrG pattern again on that same high volatility stock within 5 minutes. Bought long with rest my available cash. Ended up gaining 4.6% during a total of 15 minutes. This, on a flat indices day -- SP500 0.15%, DJI -0.21%, Nasdaq 0.11%

Hi Ima. Thanks for sharing. I notice in the video that he only has an entry strategy. I didn’t hear him say how he has the trade exits. I also noticed he said to use the GrG for entry, but then he also said to use the break-out method, but in all the examples he showed of the BO method, not one of them on the charts had the GrG happening at all! To me it seems like that would cause too much leeway for his rules basis. What do you think?

IF bar(2) is up AND bar(1) is down AND low > 20MA and 20MA > 200MA then buy IF high > high of bar(1)
success rate does not factor in losing trades...

I like your analysis and enthusiasm, I have nothing against simplicity but there are some problems to resolve, this strategy will not work in congestion period witch represents 70% of the time, you will see many crossovers between the 2 EMAs, it will generate no more than false signals and being stopped in addition to spreads .... etc in Trending markets all signals seems to work perfectly.. Why? simply because they are only reflecting what the price do NOW that s it !!! but in order to project in future you need more elaborate and discretionary system’s, let s not forget that the main cause of loosing in trading markets lack of discipline and focus .....Thank your for the effort

I started with this, then spent the last few years studying SMC. Now I’ve started implanting this again, while mixing some SMC stuff also, and it has been amazing. Backtesting this on ES has shown great results too.

Doesn’t matter it’s price action trading if there was no name on it and just price doesn’t matter . Jesse Livermore trader in the days of the bucket shop and he was a price action trader .

It’s nothing to be ashamed of. Even business research requires a team and rarely does every member of the team draw the same conclusion. That in itself is diversification.

You need to buy the paid version of trading view if that’s what you using
Sounds and looks great, but what about the spreads on the two minute time frame. They are too big.
Retail traders have big spreads but if you become his trader the charges will be low
Never spent a penny on Mr. Velez but his free content on social media has helped me become a consistently profitable trader.

juz drag the line in the chart
once you recognize the true pattern it has been late. If you enter during the 3rd candlestick forming up, trend reverse and hit stop loss... How to tackle?

The pattern here is simple , when 20 sma crosses over 200sma
Wait for candle to rally down close to 20 Sma
Wait for a little red candle
Buy right above previous res candle, and stop loss right under previous red candle

I'm trading on nadex and I am using your techniques on the demo and it has made my trades 85 to 90% the only problem is I have very little capital for my real account. I tried to trade with a 500.00 account and it didn't work very well. But that was before I started watching you trading videos so I'm gonna put my last 500.00 dollars in my live account and use your techniques. I don't have time for day trading . Does it work on 1D timeframe with the same 20ma and 200ma?
So if you trading early in the morning,the 200ma will reflect last days prices,which is sometimes irrelevant if the stock is gaping up?
