Oh my, my, my. Thanks every much Oliver. I listened to your video lesson yesterday, I tried it on SPY options and made good profit. I bought the SPY PUT options strike at 460 and I finished at 453. I thank you very much for this lesson. I traded the same way with AAPL and made profit.
There are a number of stocks that have been surging, it’s advisable to look beyond the short-term trends to invest in long-term income.
Not all stocks, however, are suitable long-term buys.
Totally Emilio, Some stocks you expect to do greatly might end up being a total waste.
Particularly one reason I prefer diversity, it’s almost impossible to predict how the market will play out in few months or years, so I always advise investors to diversify and avoid overexposure in any investment.
Absolutely Liam. Luckily I have my account manager Dan Raziel who ensures my investments are diversified into stocks, crypto and other profitable ventures. This is the best lesson on scalping. I like to buy the reversal and I'm pretty good at timing the bottom, but this video really helped me to see when the reversal is for scalping and when it's the real reversal to start a new trend and to let the winners run. That's people who really know what this mambo-jumbo is all about: Present an over simplistic high "probability" method (which in real life does not work, of course) and then lure naive people to buy whatever they are selling. Listen carefully the last 5 minutes of the video and you'll get it. CZcams is filled with these kind scams.
Maybe because it’s a giant scam and most upvotes and comments are possibly bots. The guy used his own method on what appears to be baba chart and says you should buy in however it clearly shows a reversal to the down side. If you aren’t setting a stop loss you are risking far more than what you are supposed to. On top of that he is using words that clearly show he has a gamblers mind and this is the wrong person you should follow.

@@richardmartinez2973 not true. ALL trading strategies have a REAL probability of ~50%, being an awesome strategy one that has ~65% of win rate probability. That's why win rate is ONLY one factor to become consistently profitable.
@@keen2461 Yes, it's easy to show this "high probability" method on charts that have already happened which are also cherry picked. Notice he says nothing about how to determine where to top and/or bottom of the up move or down move. Take any of the reversals that he shows and cut off everything to the right of the bottom or top of the trend - now tell us how to determine whether it is the top or bottom of the move. By the time you have indentified it, other than just guessing, that 25% of the move is pretty much gone by.

While playing the color game, when should we take the entry ? I mean for example, the current 2 minute bar already crossed the previous bar high, but current 2 minute bar is still running. so should we wait for the current bar to finish or we can just take the entry once the current 2 minute bar just cross the previous bar high ?

I verified also and the 25% retracement is gold and I will definitely utilize moving forward.

yes that could work, was also thinking of the USD/JPY.
People are saying the 3 min chart in this day is in a bearish trend, it could be that the daily or even weekly trend is bullish. 25% scalps off a bearish move is shorts covering their positions that makes the 25% uptick. It’s not easy to time the perfect dip to ride that 25% uptick- the charts are already laid out so it’s all in hindsight. These are good moves off these blue chip stocks which is one key note to add. Most traders trade small caps or even penny stocks, theres a different way to scalp those. Volumes need to be considered and not even mentioned looking at time and sales and level 2. The main take away here is basic use of hi lo moving averages and how to identify a mid day reversal when a trend hits lower highs.

Attention viewers start about two minutes in an end about two minutes early and then you won’t have to get the prop firm set up. The knowledge in the middle is pretty useful and depicting textbook Trend shapes and how to play them consistently
Fantastic explanation, thanks Oliver, I want to inform you that I tried your method using the 20 & 200 simple moving average but I realized that we could add another 2 moving averages which are both 20 also but one of them is applied to high instead of close and the other is applied to low instead of close so that we have 3 moving average that act as an area as you told later it's not a line so I think adding these two will be useful what do you think

This is called a MA band or ribbon depending on who you ask... if you fill it with color between the 3 lines its easier to look at and is quite effective on many timeframes. Best of luck to all

how do you identify that it's the end of the big move tho?
As he said when the bounce is more than 25% you are starting to see the end of the decline. Also when 20ma gets closer to 200ma decline is almost over.

Hi Sir I have seen your videos recently and trying find good way fwd out come from your stuff. If you provide kind of copy trading mt4 to mt4 or mt5 to mt5 from your end that would be great which automatically place trades as per yours. Hope you may aware of it and also you may be know pros and cons of this method. Don’t feel bad that I have propose this method. Thought is Iam a daily employee struggling to lead family with all the ways. That’s why I have proposed. And coming to point if such any methods please suggest me, over a period I will be like gain good hold on your explained methods.

just subscribed to this channel. @ 20 minutes in this vid, you said you bet the market goes down b/c of the wide space, yet you said before that short when 200 ma is above the price, in this scenario, it's actually below the stock price. Is this a mistake in this vid or there is something that I don't understand?
Only issue I'm having is what to do when the price peaks over the 20 MA sometimes it feels like it would keep going up over the 20 ma.
Like Oliver said ,if you're scalping get out at one of the percentage levels and I would say to have a price target set for yourself then exit the trade when it's reached .

Exactly. It's hard to know when it's a strong drop with a potential bounce back up rather than a strong drop + more drops and more drops.

Talking a lot of of sense on the scalping. Yesterday on the DAX ( 15 minute chart) in the last part of the trading session follows your idea's very well. You have put into words that what I have seen intuitively without placing it into a context . Moral of the story : 25% retracement take profit to always leave enough for the other guy. However, how doe's one avoid "Catching a falling knife?" Otherwise classic pit trader stuff.
you are right ,he doesn't tell when and how exactly to enter . if entered late no enough road to 25% level , if trying to enter in hurry one may risk catching a falling knife
