Lites Rosen is fine, his O-Line is just atrocious
Brook Lopez idk, i feel like he’s the only one that hasn’t really showed me anything yet, look at Allen and Darnold, their O-Lines are just as terrible as Rosens but they still show flashes of amazing arm and leg talent, and they do that with worse receivers and RBs

As a Jets fan I hope this is our QB of the future. Hope he can lead the Jets to a Super Bowl Title! with Bell as our Running Back that should be a big boost..... Defense as been good, but last few years needs to improve.

Jets fans Sam Darnold is your quarterback of the future. This kid had a shaky rookie season which is to be expected, but improved after he came back from his foot injury. He made plays behind a shakey offensive line and no #1 WR. He can make all the throws and his percentages increase when he throws on the run. Get him a #1 WR, 1-2 OL and whatever you do keep the same offensive coordinator. Enjoy Jets fans.

I love the rookie to rookie connection between Darnold and Herndon. Herndon had a very good year for a rookie TE. He had almost 500 yards and 5 TDs. He definitely showed chemistry between the two of them

Robbie Anderson had his best year over 1000 yards with Carolina last year. Now Darnold is coming to Carolina. That should be an interesting to them back together.
Anybody who doubts Darnold needs to watch 8:10. Just pure talent.
His accuracy is what really impresses me, especially on the deep ball.

I love his throw on the run ability
As a USC fan that watched Darnold play for us for 2 years in LA, I can tell you Jets fans that you will be in for a real treat! Don't look at numbers just yet, remember, Carson Wentz only had a 16-14 TD-INT ratio as a rookie as well(very comparable to Darnold's 17-15 TD-INT ratio), not to mention that Darnold did it in 3 less games then Wentz! The Jets just have to get this guy a better O-line or they'll get this kid killed! Even Brady or Rodgers would look like crap with that O-line the Jets have! The future looks bright for the Jets if they can get some good pieces!

I miss Sam darnold. The Jets coaching staff and especially ADAM GASE, ruined his potential. I still have Darnold’s jersey when bought it draft night. Hopefully he can revive his career one day.
I'm glad him and Josh Allen are friends, you can tell they feed off of each other. Watch both their highlight videos back to back and you will see a lot of similarities. While being both unique in their own way. This will be a fun match-up to watch for a long time. GO BILLS!
QBs really get to their peak playing the position from ages 28-32... for Darnold that will be in 6 more seasons.. that’s how young and inexperienced he is... by the time he’s in his late 20s with all those years of experience to come he’s going to be an elite nfl QB down the road

I’d say that Anderson has been his main receiver this year. Don’t know why they released Pryor cause of an injury but, meh. They shouldn’t really worry about it as much, but yes, an improvement would be good

Footwork and pocket presence noticeably better throughout the year. Herndon is no joke.
This kid has nowhere to go but up, just remember he didn't grow playing football, I think I heard he played basketball in H.S and some college then started playing football, imagined if he would have grown up playing football, hopefully Gase can groom this guy good, I think he hasn't even scratched the surface of his potential, we'll see more flashes of his potential next year, and if he doesn't get hurt or the Jets don't screw things up like usual, He'll be league MVP in 2020/2021 season.
He grew week to week. When he has weapons and someone to give him a solid game plan. Jets will be a problem. Similar to tony romo
Coming back to watch this and seeing how he doesn't move around and rip the ball like this after being under Gase. Like he lost the internal engine and energy that allowed him to make plays. So sad but gives me hope.

It looks like when darnold throws hes not stepping into his throws. It appears to be all arm. So its pretty great he could fire the ball with that power while not always stepping into his throws.
Christopher pagnozzi I said the same thing. The throw at 4:10 was all arm.
He’s going to be really good
His rookie season is the only season where Darnold had some time to throw in the pocket and he did fairly well for a rookie. After that, it was terrible coaching, weak OLines, WR's who couldn't get open. I would like to see what Darnold can do with the 49ers if he ever gets the chance. Purdy has stayed healthy all season so far.
I’m just now seeing all of his rookie highlights. Even though I knew his rookie year was his best season I had no idea he was this good then. Looked like a top 10 QB then #keeppounding!

this kid has no team around him besides Anderson who is being covered mainly, and Enunwa who was out most of the year cuz of injuries and Herndon IV who was also injured

Under-rated arm strength
He's got a rifle arm for sure

It’s crazy how people say he has an average arm. The throws he makes on the run are straight bullets & insane. I guess ppl just like to hate
He has an interesting release which probably makes his throw seem less powerful then it really is. You see his full wind up so then you expect a crazy fast throw. A QB like Russell Wilson who has a very short wind up makes his throws look fast and effortless. Not that Darnold doesn’t have a rocket arm, but from our view on TV, some might under estimate his strength of that long wind up. On field there’s no difference, a rocket throw is a rocket throw.
I’ve heard some say his arm strength has gotten better the past couple years, guess that’s due to him being 21 and being drafted at 20 years old
He’s like a mixture of Baker and Josh Allen. I think with a great QB coach the guy could still be top seven, at the very least comparable to Ryan Tannehill-elite game manager.
Most of these plays are at the end of halves, when the coordinator was forced to run an NFL offense and let him loose. Darnold is going to be the most improved player in the league next year

Better use the off-season for rebuilding the offensive line and drafting some wide receivers for Darnold to throw to. It'd be awesome if you could make a play on trading the Steelers for Antonio Brown
Kid has potential, Has to limit the TO’s but pair him with a good OC like Goff & Trubisky & he’ll be a long time starter for the jets.

That last throw to Burnett on the move is what makes this kid so special. That's something you can't teach, you either have it or you don't. Once he gets a lil more comfortable and starts to calm down in the pocket is when he'll really start to grow up and take off. That's why this off season is so important with fixing the offensive line. He got knocked around last season a lil too much and it sped up his internal clock to wear he was seeing/feeling ghosts which also led to some awful picks. Hopefully the Jets cutting Spencer long is a sign that they saw it too

To think back in September 2017 Jets fans were saying we getting Darnold he's s really good one fast forward to the draft we get him when I thought we'd get Rosen or Mayfield. He just needs one more good receiver a center maybe an LG idk how Long's been doing there and a RB to go with Q Robby and Herndon and we're set!
I think he has the potential to be a good QB, and the AFC East being as bad as it is will give him a shot at ending the Jets’ playoff drought.
