I have a 2019 Rubicon and the manual clearly says 100lbs max. The dealer said this include the weight of the rack. YMMV.

What wheels do these Surco jeeps sit on? The red one looks insane! Please give us more details. The 2018 surco jeep looked nice too! These jeeps are really turning heads here!

Did Surco ever release that prototype Rack with the round bars? I don’t see it offered on their site? That is the rack I would consider...

I'm trying to find the same thing. I'm guessing they never did. I've found 4 exoskeleton type racks like that so far: GOBI Stealth and Ranger, which include a ladder and crossbars, and Garvin Adventure Rack and Metalcloak Pro Rack, which don't have crossbars. There are more options for 4 door JLs, but I haven't been keeping track of those. The ones I mentioned do 2 amd 4 door racks.

She clearly doesn’t know how static weight loads work. I’ve got gutter rails on my ‘18 with a RTT. Sleep totally fine on it no problems or issues flexing and its got 80,000kms.
