I hope after the seasons end you can resume previous catalogs you missed or didn't complete (honestly that should have been how it worked from day 1 instead of the catalog that doesn't have great rewards)

As someone who only got into splatoon 3 in the last two months, I'm glad I won't be missing this event! It does feel weird that they'd make all this content time-limited. Most likely someone this will make it into rotations for the rest of the game's life cycle, like they did after final fests in the last two games. Thelack of third kits is really surprising, I mea that's a HUGE chunk of real content to be missing. Some weapons will just never get picked up because of their limited kits

Ngl, I love all the Amiibo rewards - but I lean more towards the Alterna set purely because I'm a storymode fan. I'm so happy with the Captain's gear and the new Agent 3 fit, because I wanted for the longest time to wear the broken armour in battle and the legendary cap! (I'm still trying get the other legendary cap from salmon run) And off the hook's outfits are awesome to wear too - I can't wait for the Grand festival otherwise, and Big run can hopefully help with my scales counter! On a more unlikely note, I kinda hope catalogues won't stop, and just cycle through the old content since I joined the game late and would really like specific gears that I can't order. Anyways, Splat gang!

The balance update I want is the game not treating all S+ ranks as one and the same rank. Barely hanging onto your S+0 rank with 700 points in the red and then being dumped up against teams of S+10 or worse, time and time again, is just stupid and ridiculous. And the game not ranking you down when you're that far in the red is even more stupid.

For the new Grand Festival battle songs, I hope they have different songs play for each day of the fest, just like they did in Splatoon 2 FinalFest. For example, on day 1 they could play ink me up, Ebb & Flow, and all the regular deep cut songs, and on day 2 they play songs like Shark bytes and calamari Inkantation 3Mix. And finally on day 3 they would play maybe a new song by Now or Never seven! Hopefully we also will get to hear each variation of Now or never as well as the new Grand Fest version!
