In my opinion the only good characters this season were Jasmine, Sky and Sugar. I wouldn't mind seeing those three back. Sugar is a better villain than people give her credit for.

Let’s be honest, Jasmine deserved to be in the final two. I still think that Scarlett was also another enjoyable character from Pahkitew (welluntilScarlettFever), but Jasmine definitely has a lot more going for her.
Jasmine is one of my favorite characters of the entire season and made Pakitew somewhat entertaining to watch. Plus her accent and background and skills are great 👌
Jasmine is one of my favourite competitors in all of the show's history, also i have a secret crush on her. Her leadership, courage and kindness made her one of the best characters on an otherwise ok season and surrounded by idiots, also Shaun is also cool. A true example of who we should all be like.
To me, Jasmine is a cross between DJ and Leshawna from Total Drama's original cast. She has DJ's gentle giant demeanor, and Leshawna's strong, selfless, integral and effective leadership. In my opinion, Jasmine was the only good thing to come out pf Phakitew Island.
The most underrated character for me? Justin. Everyone either shits on him or is neutral about him. I saw like 3 dudes that like him AT LEAST a little bit. #MakeJustinComeBackPls Reasons: 1. Character development. You can think whatever you want about Justin. But you can't deny he had one of the best character developments. He had like 6 lines in his first season. And in action he was a villain for the first half of the season. It was a great development. 2. Unique villain Justin was a unique villain. He wasn't that strategic. But he knew what his strenght was. Looks. He knew he has to use his looks to win. And did he really do a bad job at it? Heather,Katie,Sadie,Beth,Justin,Courtney damn even Owen had a crash on him. He could do ANYTHING he wanted to. But he wasn't smart. and that is what kept him from being the best villain series ever got. But I'm not mad atthat. becouse unlike Heather,Alejandro,Scott (but maybe a little more than the rest),Mal,Sugar he was funny as fuck. Him and Scott were the only funny villains. That made Justin unique. 3. The nice villain??? No one lopks at it....but Justin didn't really had anyone that hated him. Lindsay and Beth and Izzy just didn't care and the rest was neutral about him. Thus makes him the only villain without a proper hater in the cast. Again that's unique 4. Eliminations. You could have never tought of that. But Justin was responsible for elimination of everyone in the TDI special. More or less.....he was. it is even on wiki. He also eliminated Gwen and Izzy. So saying he eliminated just Gwen.....is fucking stupid. And i saw that point a lot. 5. Enjoyable villains. You see what makes a good villain? It's not only making a character that everyone hates. Most pepole hate Leonard and he's not a villain. But making villain enjoyable on screen is....hard. You see i think Alejandro,Scott and Justin are the best villains. And before you start shit storm here about Heather just listen. I don't think Justin is better than Heather in being a villain but being enjoyable. I enjoyed Justin,Alejandro and Scott on screen. But not Heather,courtney,Mal,Sugar....that what makes again Justin a little bit special. 6. Toughts. I think Justin is the most underrated character. I made my points and I'm open for a disscusion. Ghost Plasma The only real enemies Justin had were Duncan. Since they both had feelings for Courtney in the Princess Pride in TDA , Noah , Izzy and Eva in the TDI special.
Jasmine along with with Topher, Amy and Samey are some of the hidden gems of the season. Jasmine for the reasons you mentioned. Amy and Samey because of the potential they had. The Twin dynamic could've made the show interesting because they haven't used it. (Kinda Surprised) Too bad they ruined it by giving Amy a weird fetish of hurting her sister. They never gave you the why and the reasons, just for the fun of it. Topher could've been Sierra at his full potential(but doesn't have stalker behavoir) and should've been the season vilian. But he did make Chris somewhat sane so that counts for something. But in all honesty Topher trying to steal Chris's job was good but badly executed. I would've had him lay low and kiss Chris's ass while maintaining a good strategy. Chris is often giving players advantages and Topher is the perfect person for that. He just has a punchable face and would make you rage. Too bad they wasted him.
I agree with you, and if there's another season, I think that Shawn, Jasmine, Sammy, Amy and Topher are the best characters to bring back from Pakithew. Jasmine and Shawn are very obvious. They're just great characters. Sammy and Amy weren't used much in Pakithew, but they also weren't ruined, so it's still possible to work on them. They could reveal the reason why Amy hates Sammy so much (maybe they were bullied before for being so much alike, and Amy became more and more desperate to prove how she's better than her sister or something, although I'm sure it's easy to think of a better backstory), and Sammy's rather insecure personality would also be interesting to see again, without her having to pretend to be her sister all the time. Topher could be brought back as well, but as the host of the Aftermath show, and maybe have him make some cameos during some of the normal episodes as well.
I personally also think of sugar not because shes good but because she tries to be entertaining and is the heather of this season manipulating Ella and making alliances

I'm so happy to see Jasmine get some love, she really did make PI watchable and fun, As a aus I loved her even more because of that and that fact they made her aboriginal was great aswell as most aus character aren't aboriginal so its nice seeing them get noticed as aus really is their home land and I feel they need to be shown more in TV shows/ movies. I really couldn't ask for a better aussie to show the cartoon world!
One of the few characters I like. She was an ACTUALLY underrated character. And she was a good person (nice, caring, smart, helpful) with great leadership. She finds food for her team and tries to help them win. Her relationship with Shawn was cute and healthy (dave and sky could never). She's one of the few characters in the season I like (sammy [i love you], Ella, Topher, sometimes shawn) and one of the few with good personalities. Sadly, she suffered from the worst season to exist and the worst cast.
I actually thought that Pahkitew was pretty good. I mean, sure, the characters were mostly just one-note and boring, but certain aspects made up for it. One of the biggest things I liked about Pahkitew was the whole food situation, where the contestants had to forage around just to eat, like in Survivor. Like a certain other CZcamsr said, the characters this season weren't great, "but they make them work, and that is what matters."
@Alicia Chiminje Dawn kept Lightning from choking and helped B communicate with the rest of the team from time to time. Her biggest use was a plot device for the other characters to provide exposition
The only characters I consider as my favorites: Jasmine (crush) Shawn & Samey. The rest I honestly don’t care, not to say I hate everyone (except for Leonard, Beardo, Amy, Sugar, Topher, Sky, Dave) Max is the only comic relief and Scarlet is fine, Ella meh. So that’s everything I have to say.
I actually enjoy this season mainly because of Jasmine, Sky and Shawn. Though Lennard could not get booted out any faster. The satisfaction to see him get blown out a cannon had me in tears.
Omg!! I loved Jasmine so much!! She's my fav out of everyone in Pahkitew island. I don't really care about the others in that season tbh. But know that.i think of it she really is underrated. She is amazing!! But now that I think her design is kinda like chefs in a way. Like her skin colour, hair colour, and mainly the colours of her outfit. I always thought jasmine was very attractive. She's my kind of girl/women. She's super dark skinned and really, really tall like a giant. She's super strong and sometimes makes the ground shake when she jumps up and down a lot like a small earthquake. She's super powerful and to top it all off i love her voice. She reminds me of a lot of the tall african girls that i know. Tall and strong with an athletic build.
Perhaps you can make a video of characters whom you think are wasted potential such as Dawn and you can give suggestions to how the writers can improve on them.
I think Cameron is underrated, yes he is a nerd but he is still a enjoyable character to watch but not many people talk about him and everyone calls him descent but I really like him idk just my opinion I guess...
You forgot to say that in Shawn’s ending shawn didn’t want to share his prize with Jasmin for her to make a flower store and even when she found out she was obviously mad but she couldn’t make herself hurt Shawn. (Compered to someone else *Ahem* Dave *Ahem* )
If they were to make another season including TDPI characters Jasmine is the only one who is a shoe in cause she's so likable, besides h I could only really see Shawn, samey, sugar, and Ella returning (maybe Amy but probably not)

I feel like the only person on the planet who actually /enjoyed/ Pahkitew Island for what made it different. Sure, some of the cast- okay, a lot of the cast- wasn’t so great, but the ones who were (Sky, Jasmine, Sugar, Scarlett, Shawn...) REALLY made an impression on me. And the plot lines certainly hooked me better than the previous two seasons, especially All-Stars. There really isn’t any defending the poor finale, though 😬

I see most people usually like Lightning. although you're right about the underratedness. no one really talks about him even if they do like him. I can answer why people would hate him though cause I basically almost hate him myself. he's not hilarious has an obnoxious voice & speech habits & really overstayed his welcome in the main season he was in.
@@VampirePrinceKRS Okay, I was slightly exaggerating. I do get why people hate Lightning; oddly enough, my opinions on him and Courtney are pretty much the opposite of the general consensus. I actually think they're very similar characters, being tough competitors held back by a major flaw (Lightning's arrogance, Courtney's temper) but I think Lightning is the one who is actually a good, interesting character and I want him to return, and actually get some character growth, while Courtney is the obnoxious one.
Those 3 that you mentioned are one of my favourite total drama female characters next to Gwen, Izzy, Bridgette, Lindsay, Dakota, Beth, Ella, Dawn & Sky !!❤🙂
I was immediately endeared to her becauase im an aussie, but she was one of the very few characters i actually didnt get annoyed by that was outside of the original cast.
You have good taste, because she too is also a character who is my favorite. I got lots of other favorites besides just her though, including Brick, Shawn, Tom, Jen, Junior, Dwayne, Trent, DJ, etc.
Beth is another underrated female character of total drama who wone Action and she was a deserving winner and after that everyone forget about her underdog story line. I feel so bad about her since her arc story is very misunderstood and everybody else treats her like an outcast. But for me, Beth she is a nice, sweet, cute, loveable & kindhearted female character in terms of her quirks & personality and I love her way how she stood up against Heather in island & Courtney in action and that's the reason I love her and manage somehow to develope her own personality.
In my opinion the only good characters were Jasmine,Shawn,Sammy, & Ella I wish they were Final 4 but I doubt Ella would of lasted that long and I wish Sammy or Jasmine won but I'm fine with Shawn winning because I liked him to
Awesome. Jazz!!! Can you do one about Sky? She is also underrated in a sense she is overlooked at due to bad writing. She was amazing the first episode and many call her a "Zoe clone". Sky is the opposite of Zoe. Where Zoe screams for Mike, Sky pushes Dave away. Dave made Sky a shittier character than she was ought to be. As her being native and an olympian were interressting points of her character. I hope Sky can get actual character development where she opens up more... And I agree, I love Jasmine. Sky, Jasmine and Ella made this season cool.
It saddens me that she was thrown into such a shitty season. She was a good character and I could see her really shining in a better written season with better characters. The same thing could be said about the other characters I liked in this season, Sky, Topher and Sammy (maybe being in a season with Amy, even though I hate Amy). Everyone else was was a piece of shit and made it feel like the creators officially ran out of ideas for characters.
I actually enjoyed watching pahkitew over all stars and revenge because I thought they both had a bunch of bland and derailed females. And although I like Leshawna, I enjoyed seeing an excellent black female character that wasn’t made to be super sassy or angry like they kind of wrote leshawna to be. Pahkitew would absolutely SUCK if she wasn’t apart of it. I also really liked her relationship with Shawn:)
I’d have to disagree. She had absolutely no layers to her character other than “bully Sammy”. It didn’t make her likable at all, it wasn’t interesting, and she was quickly forgotten about once she was eliminated
@@curshburger4582 I think it was interesting because a lot of people have to struggle with this kind of siblings and she is basically the reason why Samey has a character because without her, Samey would be nothing but a filler. The way they swapped place was the best thing about this season imo, same with Amy coming back two episodes later, nobody expected that

I actually thought that Pahkitew was pretty good. I mean, sure, the characters were mostly just one-note and boring, but certain aspects made up for it. One of the biggest things I liked about Pahkitew was the whole food situation, where the contestants had to forage around just to eat, like in Survivor.
Like a certain other CZcamsr said, the characters this season weren't great, "but they make them work, and that is what matters."

@Alicia Chiminje Dawn kept Lightning from choking and helped B communicate with the rest of the team from time to time. Her biggest use was a plot device for the other characters to provide exposition

The only characters I consider as my favorites: Jasmine (crush) Shawn & Samey. The rest I honestly don’t care, not to say I hate everyone (except for Leonard, Beardo, Amy, Sugar, Topher, Sky, Dave) Max is the only comic relief and Scarlet is fine, Ella meh.

I actually enjoy this season mainly because of Jasmine, Sky and Shawn. Though Lennard could not get booted out any faster. The satisfaction to see him get blown out a cannon had me in tears.
Omg!! I loved Jasmine so much!! She's my fav out of everyone in Pahkitew island. I don't really care about the others in that season tbh. But know that.i think of it she really is underrated. She is amazing!! But now that I think her design is kinda like chefs in a way. Like her skin colour, hair colour, and mainly the colours of her outfit. I always thought jasmine was very attractive. She's my kind of girl/women. She's super dark skinned and really, really tall like a giant. She's super strong and sometimes makes the ground shake when she jumps up and down a lot like a small earthquake. She's super powerful and to top it all off i love her voice. She reminds me of a lot of the tall african girls that i know. Tall and strong with an athletic build.
Perhaps you can make a video of characters whom you think are wasted potential such as Dawn and you can give suggestions to how the writers can improve on them.

I feel like the only person on the planet who actually /enjoyed/ Pahkitew Island for what made it different. Sure, some of the cast- okay, a lot of the cast- wasn’t so great, but the ones who were (Sky, Jasmine, Sugar, Scarlett, Shawn...) REALLY made an impression on me. And the plot lines certainly hooked me better than the previous two seasons, especially All-Stars. There really isn’t any defending the poor finale, though 😬

Jasmine, underrated? Who doesn't love Jasmine? If you want an example of an underrated character, at least in my opinion, Lightning is it. Seriously, why does everybody hate this guy? He's hilarious!
I see most people usually like Lightning. although you're right about the underratedness. no one really talks about him even if they do like him. I can answer why people would hate him though cause I basically almost hate him myself. he's not hilarious has an obnoxious voice & speech habits & really overstayed his welcome in the main season he was in.
@@VampirePrinceKRS Okay, I was slightly exaggerating. I do get why people hate Lightning; oddly enough, my opinions on him and Courtney are pretty much the opposite of the general consensus. I actually think they're very similar characters, being tough competitors held back by a major flaw (Lightning's arrogance, Courtney's temper) but I think Lightning is the one who is actually a good, interesting character and I want him to return, and actually get some character growth, while Courtney is the obnoxious one.

Topher is another underrated gem from Pahkitew. Though he was more comic relief than a contestant with an actual arc.

I was immediately endeared to her becauase im an aussie, but she was one of the very few characters i actually didnt get annoyed by that was outside of the original cast.

You have good taste, because she too is also a character who is my favorite. I got lots of other favorites besides just her though, including Brick, Shawn, Tom, Jen, Junior, Dwayne, Trent, DJ, etc.
Beth is another underrated female character of total drama who wone Action and she was a deserving winner and after that everyone forget about her underdog story line. I feel so bad about her since her arc story is very misunderstood and everybody else treats her like an outcast. But for me, Beth she is a nice, sweet, cute, loveable & kindhearted female character in terms of her quirks & personality and I love her way how she stood up against Heather in island & Courtney in action and that's the reason I love her and manage somehow to develope her own personality.
In my opinion the only good characters were Jasmine,Shawn,Sammy, & Ella I wish they were Final 4 but I doubt Ella would of lasted that long and I wish Sammy or Jasmine won but I'm fine with Shawn winning because I liked him to

She is also underrated in a sense she is overlooked at due to bad writing. She was amazing the first episode and many call her a "Zoe clone". Sky is the opposite of Zoe. Where Zoe screams for Mike, Sky pushes Dave away. Dave made Sky a shittier character than she was ought to be. As her being native and an olympian were interressting points of her character.
I hope Sky can get actual character development where she opens up more... And I agree, I love Jasmine. Sky, Jasmine and Ella made this season cool.

It saddens me that she was thrown into such a shitty season. She was a good character and I could see her really shining in a better written season with better characters. The same thing could be said about the other characters I liked in this season, Sky, Topher and Sammy (maybe being in a season with Amy, even though I hate Amy). Everyone else was was a piece of shit and made it feel like the creators officially ran out of ideas for characters.

I actually enjoyed watching pahkitew over all stars and revenge because I thought they both had a bunch of bland and derailed females. And although I like Leshawna, I enjoyed seeing an excellent black female character that wasn’t made to be super sassy or angry like they kind of wrote leshawna to be. Pahkitew would absolutely SUCK if she wasn’t apart of it. I also really liked her relationship with Shawn:)
To me the most underrated character is Amy, she was an absolute bitch, but her character arc with her sister was the best thing about this season
I’d have to disagree. She had absolutely no layers to her character other than “bully Sammy”. It didn’t make her likable at all, it wasn’t interesting, and she was quickly forgotten about once she was eliminated
@@curshburger4582 I think it was interesting because a lot of people have to struggle with this kind of siblings and she is basically the reason why Samey has a character because without her, Samey would be nothing but a filler. The way they swapped place was the best thing about this season imo, same with Amy coming back two episodes later, nobody expected that
Tbh Jasmine and Shaun, are my fav couple in TDA. They just mesh so well and really benefits his character growth.
They are my second favorite behind Trent and Gwen(though it got messy in TDA).
