I've heard people theorise that the reason Alejandro has autotune in the songs towards the end of the season is because his fake smile is becoming more and more obvious to the characters around him. Therefore, they know that he's like.... yknow, lying about his true feelings; and to demonstrate that in the music, there's nothing much better than fake singing with autotune.
@@AqwDragulum Yeah, kinda a wasted opportunity when you make one of your only in-canon singers not qualify for a season with singing every episode. He only got to sing back-up in "Baby" and that's it. Also, the writers do realize they could've still made Trent compete in World Tour and gotten him voted out before Duncan's return, right?
I think the autotune on al is to show him getting more and more fake. Until the part where he saves heather. He becomes natural for the ending of that song
Nah bro lmao it was just like a Kanye 808s and heartbreak album type parody. Lots of the songs parody real songs, like blainelific being just fergilicious. Go listen to love lockdown or he artless pretty similar sounding.
@@kyaria8888 Team Chris Isn't And Was Never At All Hot had 5 members, didn't it? Owen, Noah, Tyler, Alejandro, and the just returning Duncan. That would make 5, and so Alejandro's, Tyler's and Duncan's votes would overpower Owen's and Noah's.
On God, the funniest scene in the whole show was Tyler seeing Duncan and Gwen kissing. The silent and quick joke was executed perfectly, and anytime I rewatch the show, I always laugh the hardest at that scene.
@@donathan2933 he didnt snitch as much as he was repaying a favor for alejandro, and it drives the plot forward and in the end makes it mor enjoyable, and plus gwen couldn’t make it to top 3 because she came second and in some versions won, so there had to be a good reason to vote her off
RockerLock the kiss made for some good drama in the season. However, it was also the start of the downfall of the show. The love triangle ruined all 3 characters within it in some way.
I still think this season had the most BS elimintation with Noah's exit. He fucking won the challenge but Chris decided that he lost for no reason other than Duncan's return.
Boyfriend kisser, blanerific, and Gwen's face BURNED into my brain. Sometimes they get stuck in my head even though I haven't watched that season in literal years
I've heard that originally, it was gonna be Lindsay in the finale with Duncan but the voice actress for Lindsay got a job that meant she had to leave before the end and that's why Lindsay got voted off in such a silly way.
Making Heather of all people the “protagonist” of this season, or at least the closest thing to it, was to me easily the coolest thing they’ve done in the whole show. As an antagonist she’s definitely unlikable and conniving, but she’s also really bad at the whole not getting everyone to want her gone aspect of the show. She’s so unsubtle as a villain that it becomes tiring, and then becomes such a punching bag in season 2 that you no longer fear her, but just pity her. Then in Season 3 she basically starts the show on a team full of people who want her out from the word go, plus she’s been one upped by the new antagonist in town who’s a much more capable villain because he’s so much more manipulative and charismatic than her, he’s everything Heather wants to be and he seems to do it effortlessly. So throughout the whole season Heather is fighting an uphill battle with her back against the wall at all times, but she manages to survive due to her team just being too good that they never have a chance to eliminate her, and then because all the tension gets transferred to Gwen and Courtney and she no longer is the biggest target. In most seasons the new villain on the block would eventually dispatch of a weaker antagonist to show that they’re the real deal, like Courtney eliminating Justin or Mal outing Alejandro, but they don’t do that in World Tour. Yes, Heather has a much harder time than Al but she earns her way to the finale by outworking everybody else and refusing to give up. I think that’s what makes the ending so great, there is no predictable good guy underdog character in the finale, Cody lost because realistically of course he would. But by overcoming the biggest challenge in the whole show by defeating Alejandro, Heather becomes someone people can actually root for and finally earns the praise of her peers and actually has her moment to be the popular successful one like she always wanted. Not only does she win the competition, but the rest of the cast seem proud to see her do it, a far cry from her state at the end of Season 1 where Harold was literally the only person that would even give her the time of day. Maybe she doesn’t deserve it by deeds, but there’s no question she deserves respect for her effort, and at the very least she does become a lot less nasty and more friendly to an extent compared to when she started the show.
@@Nanotavailable I’m scared how you’re going to set up the next round matchups to make me watch my favorite characters have to lose to my other favorite characters or characters I never expected them to lose to again. I mean putting Kaito against Gundham and Chiaki against Kyoko and Fuyuhiko against Kokichi all so early on is just unfair. 😆 I only have like 5 of my top 15 favorites left, though I guess out of 12 people remaining that it could be worse.
who would you say is the protagonist of action then? because it's definitely gwen in island but they got rid of that in action. so maybe duncan or lindsay?
Tbh, it's the one reason this season isn't my favourite. The middle few episodes from around 14 to 19 that focus on the love triangle are infuriating to me, so I just skip them every time I watch the season, and just start from the Blainley entering the competition episode onwards. Also, Lindsay's elimination was, yet again, a complete ass pull.
Really wish Cody had won this season. Though admittedly, he didn't exactly do anything to earn his spot. But he also never did anything that made anyone want to vote him off.
Im glad with the Heather-Alejandro win. Sierra lowkey just brought Cody to such a high place. He's cool and I wouldn't mind him winning, but not this season
@@anikathu Yeah, it's like I said. He didn't do anything wrong to get voted off in the first place. I guess Sierra did carry him, but he didn't really need her. Nobody would have voted for Cody since he wasn't a threat.
I think he deserved a better ending. The story’s about Alejandro and Heather’s relationship, so they have to be the final two, but his tiebreaker ending was really rushed. I think he should’ve just lost the race but been content regardless for being able to make it so far
I think he deserved his place. He let himself be carried by Sierra without growing enough himself. He got some development (like punching Duncan), but once Sierra was eliminated, he learnt the hard way that he wasn't actually a good contestant, and that staying on the low-down doesn't work for the whole show. I think it was a key part of his overall development, alongside being perved on by some girl the same way he perved on a girl himself. He realized in both the finale and the penultimate episode how much Sierra helped him, and because of that he was able to accept some kind of friendship with her; one that would hopefully be more healthy, and accept his weaknesses I guess. And at some point he also realized he didn't need to get with Gwen.
Oddly enough, the special of TDA confirms Beth won. She got the money to go to the France trip with Lindsay and had to use some of her money to bail her and Lindsay out because Lindsay messed up the Mona Lisa.
Actually Duncan won in Canada where the show was made so he's probably the canon winner. Plus in the trailer for All-stars, it's shown he was a winner while Chris was discussing the new season. Not to mention Beth's parents having to sell their car to bail her out, so I doubt she's the true winner. Still respect your opinion though.
There's no indication that's what happened. The best explanation for Duncan is that he lost the million dollars due to the custody dispute with Courtney.
Heather was and still is the best character in the whole series, Fight ME. Alejandro in the other hand was cool but i couldnt relate to him at all, he was like noah said a Better Heather since he has Tact and actual Social skills which in retrospective make him MORE DANGEROUS and is funny to see heather triying to do the exact same things she did in season 1 but failing no one believe on her shit anymore so she an actual UNDERDOG this time, Cody went from lame to and actual great character too and i hate the rest of the cast, they got call out by Bridget about supporting Alejandro Over Heather and is because HE IS LIKEABLE or atleast thats what they thing but Alejandro wont hesitate on letting then die if he had the chance. With heather too but atleast you can see that coming. I dont know, overrall i didnt hate Alejandro but I like Heather More.
I'd argue that Alejandro is a better villain, since he managed to manipulate EVERYONE (except for like, Noah and Heather) and win in his first season, which Heather failed to do. In her 2 seasons before this. But Heather is so much more amazing, yes. But also, Cody did become cooler (When he punched Duncan? Yess!) but you can't argue that Sierra carried him.
@@anikathu well of course he is the better villain, Heather Is not the villain this time, in fact she got torture in London, she played fair and square for most of the season, she didnt get involve in much drama and Alejandro was responsible for most of the eliminations, also like i say everyone knows that Heather cant be trusted so for the most part she was consider Harmless, even sierra know that but since she is a super hardcore fan she knows everyone.
The only problem I have with this season is Duncan is barely in it but I’m glad Chris was looking for him and he played a big part in the second half of World Tour.
I know but to be honest Duncan was being a baby. Just sing and if he did who knows he might have won again and got another million dollars. At least if he did sing he would have a chance at winning. The only reason he got a second chance is because he’s a fan favorite so Chris was thirsty to find him. But Duncan is still my favorite character.
Anman999 Ir’s development because he was a bland character in Island and Action and he became more interesting in WT, ROTI, and AS. Feral Ezekiel is actually my 3rd favorite character.
My biggest problem was that Harold went home too early, but that is because of two reasons: A) He made it very far in Action and B) It was part of building Al’s arc as a villain. Anyway, Harold should’ve won TDA.
Awww Drumheller (ep 23) and Planes, Trains and Hot Airmobiles (ep25) are two of my favorites episodes of the series. And Heather’s redemption arc from villain to anti-hero this season was awesome.
Nah my guy, Mordecai will always be a legendary simp. Killing and flanking on your best buddy for a girl who takes you for granted and messes with your emotions is definitely over the top. Still respect your opinion though.
I have to agree on you with this one I thought Total Drama World Tour was more funnier I thought the writing was more sharper and clever but overall I thought it was really enjoyable and surprising it has original songs that I still sing to this day!^-^
For me, Island is still the best season, but World Tour is a very close second place. I wish Trent was a contestant instead of just peanut gallery, but at the same time he dodged a bullet as far as the fanbase response to the love triangle. Wonder how much more complicated that would've been if he was there, a love square. Him and Gwen still seem on good terms even after that though, as seen in Aftermath Aftermayhem. Also, the fact that Beth was a finalist in Action and just peanut gallery in World Tour felt kinda weird. Like, you're not bringing back the winner/runner up of the previous season? That's a rare case with Total Drama.
Alejandro is so chad,he fakes him being paralyzed Waist down and instead of a Wheelchair he just walks down with his hands, and can Move like a Skeletonless Parkour man after being closed in a machine for years
TDWT was the first season I ever watched back when I was younger, and I definitely agree it's the best season, even almost ten years later. The relationship between Heather and Alejandro was the type of competitive villain/villain relationship I'd wanted from the show and they managed to flesh out more of the original characters than I think TDA did. Also as a musical fan the songs were always an added bonus. TDI comes in a close second place though, mostly cause my girl Gwen made it to the final and I got to see her in every episode.
The fact that this season aired during my favorite month of the year, October, made it so much better to watch. This will always be the best season of Total Drama. I usually dislike musicals, but this one hit so different.
The acknowledging of Sierra as a stalker by other characters is largely for gags, when it had real potential on Cody’s own crush on Gwen. There’s also that Sierra is portrayed as sympathetic, which isn’t the best angle for a stalker character across the season. She was introduced as knowing a lot about all the contestants and Chris, having watched all the episodes of Island and Action multiple times. She could have used this to predict where the competition would go, the tactics Chris would pull and manipulate the others. A contrast to Alejandro as manipulators if you will.
@@nuibaba280 Sierra could have been someone Alejandro used for information, an unwitting accomplice and Heather has to get her out of the game to try handicap Al.
The Gwent and Duncney breakups along with the whole Gwuncan idea was forced by Teletoon and Cartoon Network. It wasn’t intended by the creators. Duncan never did anything truly nice to Gwen. He deceived and manipulated her big time and had no remorse for his wrongdoings.
Lol, why are you always hating on such an awesome character. He didn't deceived or manipulate Gwen at all. He genuinely cared and loved her. He also wanted to tell Courtney about the situation but Tyler and Alejandro couldn't mind their own business and got in the way. I agree, it was better when they were friends, but at least their relationship was healthy and non toxic and abusive like his and Courtney's. All because they just had to ruin her character in Action.
@@leethebee101 Duncan did deceive and manipulate Gwen, and he cheated on Courtney. Duncan only liked Gwen for her physical appearance and similarities and he was never honest with her. Read my DeviantArt journal for more information.
@@gothikaxenon Dude, I respect your opinion, but how is liking someone for their physical appearance, similarities, and personality a bad thing? If anything, he found himself a perfect match. You gotta admit that Courtney had it coming tho. She definitely would've acted the same way if Duncan told her he had feelings for Gwen and it would still result in drama/tension none the less. Seriously, a list about 47 things to change about him? Last time I checked, a relationship she be based on understanding and respect.
@@leethebee101 It's because similarities and appearances are shallow features that don't truly bring people together. Duncan never treated Gwen with kindness, compassion, respect, honesty, loyalty, or acceptance, and he had no real development with her. He purposely abused her real friends, lied to her, tricked her into doing certain things, and still had feelings for Courtney. Real love and friendship is about kindness, compassion, honesty, acceptance, respect, loyalty, development, and other deep qualities. These are the attributes that Trent displayed towards Gwen and he loved her for who she was. Duncan lured Gwen away from her real friends, reality, and true self. He purposely sabotaged Gwen and Trent’s relationship then took advantage of Gwen and cheated on Courtney. Duncan didn’t truly treat Gwen as a friend. All he did to her was talk about similarities while tricking her into doing delinquencies and into betraying her friends. He tricked Gwen into thinking Trent was crazy and obsessed (even though Trent was actually hurt and confused because Duncan had horribly abused Trent to the point where he made Trent lose control of himself) and into believing Courtney was her enemy. Gwen’s real enemy is Duncan himself.
@@gothikaxenon Tbh, him having feelings for Courtney out of no where made absolutely no sense whatsoever. It would've been understandable if he felt bad about what went down and wanted to make up for it but him having feelings didn't make sense. You can't really blame that on him, I blame the writers more than anything. Also, pretty sure he didn't break up Gwen and Trent. It was Trent's own fault for throwing challenges and the whole nine obsession. Duncan simply was just hanging out with her and just said that maybe he was always crazy and that it wasn't her fault. Trent just confused everyone is all. Duncan didn't abuse Trent at all. He could'nt have cared less about their relationship. He just thought that is was weird and funny how crazy he was. Same goes for Owen and Harold. Owen if anyone broke up their relationship by giving the poor guy horrible advice. Dude, how can you also say that Gwen's worst enemy was Duncan. They cared for one another. Especially in episode 1 of all-stars when she was about to get attacked by the sharks. You could've seen the fright on his face and the tone in his voice. Don't forget how excited he was when he thought that she was coming back in the game for the Niagara Brawls episode. Sure he put himself and her through a lot of drama during WT, but he didn't mean or expect for it to happen. He even tried apologizing to Courtney be she wouldn't listen. You also can't say he turned Gwen against Courtney. Courtney was literally immature, annoying, and abusive to both of them so of course she was gonna hate Courtney. Keep in mind that Gwen's friends were also Duncan's friends like: Geoff, DJ, Lashawna, Harold (friend-ish), and even Trent in Island. Trent definitely made Gwen vulnerable in Action, so don't only blame Duncan. Gwen wasn't exactly an angel herself. In all-stars, you could tell she wasn't committed to Duncan, so her getting mad about him obsesseing over Courtney wasn't fair when she was doing the exact same thing and even worse. What's funny is that even after making up, the roles were reversed and Courtney ended up messing up big time. Not to mention she didn't even give Trent a chance to explain himself and told his team to vote him off. Now that was one of, if not the most messed up things in the series without a doubt. Come on, there's gotta be at least one good thing you like about Duncan be honest. Glad to hear your opinion though, it's understandable. Moral of the story, the writers messed up after Island. If there's ever a new season, I'd love to see things get better for the characters sake. Who knows, maybe Gwent and Duncney will happen again.
Island: a amazing classic Action: not bad actually good (but ruined a lot of my fav characters) World tour: the best season Revenge of the island: really great season (I love zoey mike dawn and Cameron) All stars: okay not gonna lie it wasn’t that good or bad to be honest Pahkitew: I’m not even gonna talk about it Ridonculous race: wasn’t really bad it was actually great *those were my opinions u might disagree or agree and I don’t mind*
World tour was my favorite season, I sang the songs all the time when I watched it, and I really liked heather and alejendro's little rivalry and lowkey flirting- 💁🏽♀️
I honestly think this season was the best one they ever did, but the only thing I didn’t like on this season was Ezekiel becoming a feral. He should have more screen time like Tyler, Cody and Noah did in this season... couldn’t they just do the same but with Ezekiel too? The bad thing is that now he can’t compete ever again.... and zeke was one of my favourite characters in the whole series so seeing him becoming feral was a pain.
There's a video made by Noahh (yes, with two h's) about how Ezequiel could win a season. It's honestly really good. I'm not really crazy about him winning (even though it would be really cool), but I'd be really happy to see him become human again, and to see him become a better person, too.
@@raulrojas9253 aw, ok, i didn't realize, i wasn't talking about people who's first language isn't english. i meant if people commenting do have english as their first language. sorry if i offended you or anything.
With Zeke, he was pretty hilarious in the first 2 episodes of World Tour, and it was clear he learned from S1 They made him kinda likeable at the start of WT ngl
Hi, Ezekiel's #1 fan here. No angry rant because honestly, I've dealt with every level of Zeke fan/hater and this was definitely not the worst. I love both human and feral Zeke for different and same reasons. I personally thought human Zeke was funnier but feral Zeke had more screen time so there's that. And Zeke is for sure the reason World Tour is my favorite season.
alejandro is the best character in the entire show ! out of all seasons, out of all casts, he's just that iconic source: i run a total drama blog on tumblr of all places with 1k followers and have written more than a couple of essays on him
Alejandro was and still is my favourite character to date, he's like a more developed and funnier version of justin and i loved when he'd occasionally say something angrily in spanish like when he ate owens sock and brushed his teeth in the confessional room. He also had great chemistry with heather
I feel like I'm the only one who actually liked the love triangle haha. It added some nice moral dilemmas for the characters to deal with and I just found it really interesting! Granted I wasn't a huge fan of the Gwent or Duncney ships, so I wasn't upset at those ships being broken up
omg same I really liked it (considering i shipped Gwuncan from the beginning lol) but I think it added more drama to the show (which is literally in the name of the show)
couldn’t have said it any better... i’ll come back to this season every year and never get over how good it is. and the inclusion of singing ???? genius.
The music choices in this video are both fitting and so unffiting they somehow become fitting, well played dude. Also i recently listened to the songs from this show again and ngl they are pretty good still. Great work lad.
the singing didn't detract from the season at all, and aleheather was just an added bonus. alejandro was just what the story needed, i think. he was more conniving, more strategic, and he brought the drama. it was perfect. could've done without the damn love triangle and subsequent character derailments though
There's some bad things about world tour 1 Courtney acting like a spoiled brat about duncan and gwen 2 Leshanwa getting robbed 3 Some characters were derailed 4 Ezekiel getting 1st eliminated AGAIN
This season is hit or miss with me and I can respect for those who are fan of it. Personally I have my own gripes with it and how it utilizes certain characters. Despite Action having a mixed reception, it gave a lot of characters meaning to their inclusions. World Tour doesn't really take advantage of it and makes most inclusions canon fodder for characters like Heather, Alejandro, Duncan, etc. to go far. I can list them one by one. • *Team Victory being a total missed opportunity and killed momentum for a lot of characters.* The biggest victims are DJ and LeShawna. DJ for his animal abuser arc which doesn't do justice for him and LeShawna who was made to look very guilable despite being one of the strongest competitors. Seeing her attack Heather went against their friendship from Action while not even given LeShawna any reason besides getting played by Alejandro. They did her so dirty and she fell into irrelevancy because of it. I guess you could say Harold and Lindsay didn't do any harm, but even they couldn't recover from the Team Victory effect. Bridgette's inclusion is questionable and was only used as a catalyst for Alejandro. She only sees with his shirt off and leaves without adding any value or justification for her inclusion. Overall, this team was a total cluster fuck and spit on the face of each member. • *The TDA rejects not having any prominence to the main plot and are only comic relief.* I'm all in for jokes and laughs for characters as long as they have prominence and a factor to the main plot. It's makes them feel inferior when it was supposed their season and time to shine. World Tour literally did nothing of prominence with them. - Ezekiel's feral arc wasn't impressionable to me and he is either a nuisance or just got old. I'm guessing it was the writers way of pulling a fast one on his fanbase at the time, but let's be real, him in the peanut gallery would've been way more better than that. I can't fathom that this arc dragged as much as it did the more the season progressed. Well he was a joke character to them, so really meant it. - Noah is by far the least intriguing inclusion for me. I don't have much to say about him and he spends most of the time being Owen's sidekick. Can't he has any potential value since he's lacking in the social game, wit, contribution, and friend group department. His alignment with Owen was his saving grace and is the only reason he was brought back in Ridonculous Race. Also, I don't think he's capable of being merge material and didn't have the qualities to do so. People say he was robbed because of Chris changing the rules last minute. Whether or not his elimination was fair or unfair isn't supportive. Alejandro wouldn't have a hard picking him off since Owen and Tyler were pretty oblivious to his actions. No matter how much he'll convince that Alejandro is evil, he still wouldn't escape his wrath. - Tyler was got cucked hard this season with a terrible exit that made him look lame. The way his elimination was executed made it seem like his contributions meant nothing. Add that to getting chucked by Courtney of all people. Instead of giving him a story where he becomes a valuable asset or even preeminence, they wasted him like the other potential this season. - Cody suffered the most since he was given a reset. I wouldn't mind him pursuing Gwen if it was going somewhere, but it absolutely went nowhere since Gwen was going to hook up with Duncan later in the season. It just did more harm and haulted his entire momentum. Speaking of that, once people starting seeing a pattern of Cody's lack of prominence, it damaged his entire reputation. Sierra pretty much was created to humiliate him and makes fun of his fans. I don't know why they went too hard on him. He could've had a better comeback and proper redemption even if he didn't merge. The season in general felt like it was designed to punish him without expanding upon his character. I don't know what this season wanted Cody to be. I can't say he didn't make it far, but even then the damage was done. • *Sierra;* I don't like this character because of how selfish it's portrayed. I never understood why they didn't make her own instead of getting in the way of Cody's independence. I wouldn't have much of a problem with her if she at least wasn't a selfish person. The fact that she is allowed to be Cody's friend after the amount of torture porn she gave to him makes it feel undeserved. She doesn't acknowledge the shit she did to him. Also, why the torture porn, if you hate the character and fans so much than don't include him. Makes it a lot easier instead of giving your constant backlash. I could've liked her, but didn't seem to reach expectations and I can only remember her for ruining Cody's potential. • *Gwen's entire reputation after the Gwuncan kiss went down the toilet.* Whether it be Duncney Stans or just slut shamming, Gwen feels like a hollow shell of her former self. The quality of her character goes down hill from there. Gwen isn't some side or even a minor character. She was the protagonist of the first season and someone we looked up to. Seeing her come off as the cheater makes it seem like somebody hated her at the office. I wasn't particularly fond of her friendship of Courtney either and once this happens, I never found myself rooting for Courtney. She's just a selfish and self deserved character that doesn't get her comeuppance. I rather root for any other character. The tie breaker was also a total fuck you and rigged her favor. She should've went home from there and not a single ounce of commeupance comes her way. • *Chris rigging the rules is flat annoying this season.* Whenever the Amazon's lose, it's a reward. Whenever Team Victory loses, it isn't a reward. Also, he rigged the game and kept characters like Heather and Duncan despite them getting the majority vote. It's at this point Chris doesn't care about the traditional rules or he's intolerable. Take your pick, can't say which is which because both things annoyed me. Also, Chris being more an active competitor than 50% of the cast is a fair criticism to make. His shit got old quick and he isn't doing his job as a host. Which takes the whole point of Chris and it feels like he's competing for most of the time. While I don't think it's the worst season, but it's not my cup of tea. I think it's a disappointing season. Despite having it's own fair share of qualities, it also has lots of problems for me to enjoy.
This is my favourite season too. The songs are really good and the characters developed well. I like that Zeke turned in a feral animal/human, it's a funny gag.
I love how I agree with you entirely on like EVERYTHING total drama wise... Especially your WT opinions. I think you hit every point I’ve made over the years, spot on. Subscribing!
Jerry sure the ROTI cast isn’t as good as the Original cast, but they still better than the Pakithew island cast, as ROTI has more creativity, development and originality than Pakithew
With the first three seasons of the show they are like the original Indiana Jones trilogy. The first one is a classic, the second one while divisive is still good and the third one is the best of the first three.
I have to say, I really appreciate your use of music in your videos. Hearing Crazy Sunshine by the pillows while discussing the TDWT finale was a pleasant surprise.
You have no idea how much I love this. Completely agree with every point, and explained perfectly what I think about the love triangle in like three words lol
I'd say everything worked in this season, Heather turning into a sort of a good guy, the overall in character of Cody and Noah to make them actually likable and memorable, the further fleshing out of Tyler, the drastic change to zeke to give him a prominent role while not actually being in the competition, the funny gag of dj with animals, Duncan quitting the first episode and coming back later in the season, it was all done well. The only thing I wish they would've done is brought Trent back for this season, since he hasn't been in a season since action, he's never had time to redeem his character, as well I wish that they'd bring izzy back after returning to normal in the aftermath as it's kinda her thing to get kicked off and return later, obviously she wouldn't make it as far but it would've been cool if returned around the Greece or x files episode and got eliminated right before Duncan. But overall this season did so many things right I hope of they make another season they'll be able to match its level of quality
My favorite Season is Action actually. People seem to hate it but I can’t help but rewatch so many action episodes more than any other season. It’s just so entertaining and I would love if you did an Action review and title it as the most Underrated season! I know you went in depth in this video but I feel like I would love for you to dive in the character improvements of Lindsey and Harold and how the challenges were entertaining
The G.O.A.T I just really enjoy the challenges, they were so creative like the sports challenge, the prison challenge, and super hero challenge. The first 6 episodes are extremely boring I’ll give him that but once The prison episode starts is when the show gets REALLY GOOF
I was introduced to Total Drama from my friends on discord. We were all making our profile pictures a total drama character. I got Owen. We watched the first 2 episodes together, and I decided to finish the season. I always wondered who the people on the side were, who Geoff was, and I thought Sierra and Alejandro were one of the OGs. I finished world tour and started watching island. I finished every season except for Pakhitew and Ridonculous race. I became obsessed with total drama, absolutely loved it and always talked about it. I always listened to the world tour songs. I then watched ridonculous race for the first time and I was OBSESSED with it. I watched it over and over again. I am still obsessed with ridonculous race today, but I still think world tour is an amazing season. Noah in this season made we wheeze, especially “im considering buying a life on Craigslist.” when he was mocking Sierra. The songs were super catchy.
Great video! Completely agreed with everything you said (except I haven’t watched too much of total drama Rama, only a few episodes but if you say it’s that great I’ll give it another chance!) I love your videos on cartoons ! Keep it up !
Happy that TDA got love. Its my second favorite and Duncan was always my favorite so seeing him win was a treat. I also like how Beth worked like a foil to him and possessed strengths he didn't have. She was like the dark horse of the season and played it well enough to get into the finally.
Alejandro won in Canada. His ending is 100% hilarious because literally everything is the same but heather throws the wrong idol in. This is also the canonical ending. Heather doesn’t win.
Nah I just considered the ppl who make it into the final that they both win and they are both canon. When I watched on TV the winners were Owen, Beth, Heather, Lightning, Mike, Shawn, and Jeff.
@Alfie Gaming 2008 Nope, while I do think Heather's ending is way better, especially for her character growth/development, Alejandro won in Canada where the show is made. Therefore, he's the canon winner. Same goes for Duncan, Owen, Cameron (preferred Lightning's), Mike, Shawn, and the Surfers.
It would have been so cool if Just Stop brought up the fact that the winner of the show is dependant on which country you’re watching it from. For example, in the US version of Revenge of the island, Lightning wins. Everywhere else around the world, it’s Cameron who wins
I enjoyed World Tour for the most part. Some of the songs were pretty catchy, and the whole character drama aspect was really interesting this time around.
I didn't like the cheating/love triangle story but everything else was great. The songs could have ruined this season but they enhanced it and Alejandro has to be my favorite TD villain.
Omg yes same! World tour is best season. My order of favorites is: 1. World tour 2. Island 3. Action 4. Ridonculous race 5. Revenge 5. All stars (they’re interchangeable I like them the same) 6. Dramarama 7. Pahkitew
The one thing, other than the love triangle, that I hate from this season is how Noah was eliminated. Gwen and Courtney caught Duncan and won for their team when the challenge was to catch Jack the Ripper/Ezekiel which Noah and Owen did. Total BS, Noah was unfairly eliminated.
True. But it made sense plot wise cause it gave Owen and Duncan a reason to distrust Alejandro. But he should have been brought back instead of Blainley.
I've heard people theorise that the reason Alejandro has autotune in the songs towards the end of the season is because his fake smile is becoming more and more obvious to the characters around him. Therefore, they know that he's like.... yknow, lying about his true feelings; and to demonstrate that in the music, there's nothing much better than fake singing with autotune.
..... My mine has been blown
Also it's kinda ironic his voice being auto tuned aka more robotic because he turns into a robot in the end of the episode...
Julia Leite That is great foreshadowing
If that was intentional then that's pretty damn brilliant
I agree with the theory that he is autotuned because everyone sees him as perfect, and his voice is symbolically perfect to represent that.
I loved Owen in this season. His “friendship” with Noah and how he constantly pissed Alejandro off without even knowing was so funny.
*_Cheers, I'll drink to that, bro_*
Owen was always my favorite~
Bruh, I am still mad that they don't have Owen come back to all stars, it was all about drama and plot.
@@rapidlyfast2792 to be fair, in all stars they probably would have ruined him too.

Trent sat out this season solely so the love triangle could happen. Change my mind.
thats right
Yeah that's true.
I want Trent to come back in a future season
Plus Trent would absolutely carry all the songs. They nerfed my boy :(
@@AqwDragulum Yeah, kinda a wasted opportunity when you make one of your only in-canon singers not qualify for a season with singing every episode.
I never thought of it that way, but you may have a point there
It’s actually because his voice actor isn’t a good singers and it’s just more noticeable in the last one 😅
@@dreamcatcher5917 Actually, his VA is a fantastic singer. When you listen to him in the beginning episodes he sounds great.
Nah bro lmao it was just like a Kanye 808s and heartbreak album type parody. Lots of the songs parody real songs, like blainelific being just fergilicious. Go listen to love lockdown or he artless pretty similar sounding.
In Italy the only song in which he has autotune is Versus.
Everyone: *come fly with us*

Noah's elimination was the most unfair in World Tour
@@SynthIsBored how did it even happen. Did Owen not vote al?
@@kyaria8888 Team Chris Isn't And Was Never At All Hot had 5 members, didn't it?
Owen, Noah, Tyler, Alejandro, and the just returning Duncan. That would make 5, and so Alejandro's, Tyler's and Duncan's votes would overpower Owen's and Noah's.
On God, the funniest scene in the whole show was Tyler seeing Duncan and Gwen kissing. The silent and quick joke was executed perfectly, and anytime I rewatch the show, I always laugh the hardest at that scene.
Demo yeah that was funny but what I hated about that scenes is when Tyler snitched on Duncan
Omg ikr I can never stop laughing lmaoooooo

RockerLock true but Tyler still snitched
RockerLock the kiss made for some good drama in the season. However, it was also the start of the downfall of the show. The love triangle ruined all 3 characters within it in some way.
I still think this season had the most BS elimintation with Noah's exit. He fucking won the challenge but Chris decided that he lost for no reason other than Duncan's return.

What are the odds I find you in a comment section :o

The only thing I disliked about this season was the love triangle.
Same. But with the perks we get, cool AF challenges, Aleheather, great songs, I keep it in a tie with TDIsland
The love triangle was a bit annoying, but Alejandro’s love octagon makes up for it.
First Name Last Name I thought DJ’s animal curse was kinda dumb too
What about how Team Victory continuously lost challenges until they were all booted out by Episode 11?
I think he should’ve just lost the race but been content regardless for being able to make it so far
true

TDWT was the first season I ever watched back when I was younger, and I definitely agree it's the best season, even almost ten years later. The relationship between Heather and Alejandro was the type of competitive villain/villain relationship I'd wanted from the show and they managed to flesh out more of the original characters than I think TDA did. Also as a musical fan the songs were always an added bonus.
TDI comes in a close second place though, mostly cause my girl Gwen made it to the final and I got to see her in every episode.
I have to admit World Tour was the ambitious in production that Total Drama has ever been at that point.
Another manipulator would just step on Al and Heather's toes. Sierra fit best as a comedy character who's physically OP.

Yeah there was a lot of unfair stuff
U 🤔 Sierra’s character is bad?!? U listen to her voice!
@@xs0528 ????? mind rephrasing that sentence. Sorry, I couldn't comprehend it.
I BlitzTM I mean, Sierra’s voice is terrible. I hate it.
@@xs0528 Oh, yeah i forgot to add that into my comment. The voice was really committed to the squealing.
This is my favourite season too.
The songs are really good and the characters developed well.
I like that Zeke turned in a feral animal/human, it's a funny gag.
What perfect time to discover this channel. Love your content already man, keep up the good work.
I love how I agree with you entirely on like EVERYTHING total drama wise... Especially your WT opinions. I think you hit every point I’ve made over the years, spot on. Subscribing!
“ time to talk about the best season of total drama, world tour! “
Instantly likes video
I personally like season 2 but season 3 was a good ending for the trilogy
Its not a trilogy
@@kaizermierkrazy6886 I'm saying for before season 4 (newer cast)
Jerry sure the ROTI cast isn’t as good as the Original cast, but they still better than the Pakithew island cast, as ROTI has more creativity, development and originality than Pakithew
Do Nathan roti worst season ever I couldn’t even watch it 🤢 when i was rewatching all of them
With the first three seasons of the show they are like the original Indiana Jones trilogy.
World Tour has actually been my favorite since I got into Total Drama this year! it's a really fun season :D
Came here for the commentary, subbed for you talking about my favorite show as a kid.
Ayyy good to see someone else love this season as much as I do.
Rippen_Crippen meh action was the weakest out of the original cast
The G.O.A.T I just really enjoy the challenges, they were so creative like the sports challenge, the prison challenge, and super hero challenge. The first 6 episodes are extremely boring I’ll give him that but once The prison episode starts is when the show gets REALLY GOOF
Hell yeah! The best season! I actually fell in love with this season due to the Ezekiel storyline!
...
Sure is fun to be irrelevant!
I love the Danganronpa music you use. Idk why it stands out to me so much but keep doing that.
Mom walk down stairs and her seeing me watching total drama world tour and me rocking out to the songs
?
AquaStar TV I fixed it
Glad that I'm not the only one who loved World Tour. I don't know why but the best way I can describe this season is "fun".
Great video! Completely agreed with everything you said (except I haven’t watched too much of total drama Rama, only a few episodes but if you say it’s that great I’ll give it another chance!) I love your videos on cartoons ! Keep it up !
And we’re back
Happy that TDA got love. Its my second favorite and Duncan was always my favorite so seeing him win was a treat. I also like how Beth worked like a foil to him and possessed strengths he didn't have. She was like the dark horse of the season and played it well enough to get into the finally.
Agreed
Same goes for Duncan, Owen, Cameron (preferred Lightning's), Mike, Shawn, and the Surfers.
leethebee there is no canon ending
I recognise that the council has made a decision, but given that it's a stupid ass decision I've elected to ignore it.
Nahh
The heather wining ending is the more widespread one, and the one that makes sence when she comes back for her million dollars in ROTI
Really digging these reviews.
I’ll rank the seasons like you did I guess.
1. Island
2. World Tour
3. Ridonculous Race
4. Action
5. All Stars
6. Revenge
7. Pahkitew
It would have been so cool if Just Stop brought up the fact that the winner of the show is dependant on which country you’re watching it from.
For example, in the US version of Revenge of the island, Lightning wins.
Everywhere else around the world, it’s Cameron who wins
The final 2 of action should've been Harold and Duncan because they had a pretty big rivalry in that season
Didn’t this show get an award for having the most main characters?
Fujiisan rly
now gaming I think so. I mean for its time it was a lot.
Do we count the Aftermath hosts/peanut gallery as main characters too? If we do, then it had more than Island, if we don't, then it didn't.
I love Duncan’s haircut lmao. It’s literally just the adidas logo but recoloured
I forced myself to like Sierra because we have the exact same name, but I eventually did end up actually liking her cause she was fun to watch.
I don’t think you understand how much I love the use of Danganronpa music in this video.
I appreciate the fact that you actually enjoyed Action cuz that was one of my favorite seasons and I felt that it was underrated

ezekiel: Am I a joke to you?
How the hell is he 15 I was like how does he know everything about my childhood I thought he was like 20 or 21 but no he's a year younger than me
Wait a second... HE’S 15???? WITH THAT VOICE????
@@APOYOSC yeah
Muguel Cydhhd he sounds cute ngl
I'm 2 years older wth
AidanMSM ikr How does he look like
Clearly Netflix doesn’t think the same...
I enjoyed World Tour for the most part. Some of the songs were pretty catchy, and the whole character drama aspect was really interesting this time around.
TDWT is the best season and they did my girl Heather so wonderfully. Her character development is just... *chefs kiss*
I didn't like the cheating/love triangle story but everything else was great. The songs could have ruined this season but they enhanced it and Alejandro has to be my favorite TD villain.
I would rank the seasons nearly the same as you, but with All Stars being on the bottom instead. They destroyed so many characters with that season...
Omg yes same! World tour is best season. My order of favorites is:
1. World tour
2. Island
3. Action
4. Ridonculous race
5. Revenge
5. All stars (they’re interchangeable I like them the same)
6. Dramarama
