So to clarify. The trailer was supposed to be out today anyways, but it got leaked 15 hours early, so Rockstar pretty much said "Eh, if it's out now, atleast watch it in 4K on our official youtube channel" and they released it early for everyone. You would be able to watch it right now even without a leak, it was announced it would come out today.
Or hear me out, they intentionally leaked the video themselves then released the "official" version for more hype.

From what I seen from the trailer, that's not the case at all.....
If you saw the leaks back in 2022, you can see them playing and testing as Jason too. So I do believe we play as both sometime in the story at least. We will see when more trailers drop anyways. @@WTKACE
It's definitely in-engine footage. Whether they'll use the same settings (draw distance, pedestrian density, etc) for the game or tweak them a bit is yet to be seen, but this is clearly real game assets running in the RAGE engine.
Yeah. A look at the original GTAV trailers and more recently - and perhaps more importantly - the RDR2 trailers. All in-engine footage and pretty damn close to the final product. I'd be shocked if they broke with their MO and just CGI'ed that whole thing. I think we're finally going to have a game that pushes the latest generation of consoles.

The leaks early this year showed that we play as both Jason and Lucia.
Not only that but Trailer 1 seemed to focus on Lucia more. I feel like Trailer 2, will focus more on Jason just like how each of the GTA V protagonists got their own trailer.
Plus, the GTA V first trailer itself focused more on Michael as it was him talking and we got a brief glimpse of him.

The press release says it's releasing on xbox series s so it might not be too demanding on systems, no mention of it releasing on PC though so will likely be a later release like Rockstar have done before.

No, she isn't the first female playable character, there were female characters in the 2D era (GTA1,2).
The secret to leaks is that the companies are making them... I can't say why or how I know. It's making me look goofy I know. But check the internet traffic when leaks appear as a buzz word.

It's funny. In every reaction with a girl mixed in with a guy or guys, they guys don't react to the women. When it's all guys, they act like animals. It's hilarious.
Ten years people been playing gta 5 but finally rockstar is making gta 6 really exciting
II think they just released the trailer only like 12 hours early due to the leak, not like weeks or anything egregious. I'm sure a lot of 'partners' had been sitting on the video for a few hours or days at that point. Still sucks a lot, but, it's not like the trailer was unfinished or rushed due to a leak. There had been some leaks earlier but not of the trailer itself and I don't think they pushed the trailer forward due to those in particular as this trailer would have taken a lot of time to put together.
For me the trailer is great, and the things that shine to me are the interior spaces and especially the convenience stores. One thing I always judge open world games on is by the attention they pay to convenience stores, kiosks, etc. Cyberpunk, great as it is, is a little weak on most of the kiosks. Phantom Liberty did improve it a little bit. To be honest, I want a game that accurately lets me go into a gas station, browse the shelves for snacks and drinks, and then go check out and pick up some lotto tickets while I'm at it. Fingers crossed GTAVI is that immersive.
I may be wrong, but I believe the PC version isn't announced (probably coming a decent amount after the console versions).

@@flybriur It sucks, but double-dipping is something that Rockstar's always done with their titles. And by double-dipping I mean having people get the console version first, cause it's the only one available, and then get the PC version to enjoy it on PC, cause the PC version is always the best, but it releases years after the console versions.

Pretty sure it's gonna be like GTA5 where you can switch between the main characters when you play.

Won’t make sense otherwise. Tbh game looks awesome. But how do you put a couple in vice city… how does fighting work? Is Lucia able to take on male gangsters and just punch away? Got nothing against a female protagonist but it has to make sense. And the setting and everything around it just doesn’t. I know they won’t put out a crappy game, but I’d rather see something with either one male or what they did in V only with a female too or something, and not some relationship thing going on. It’s just weird flashing shots of stripclubs etc and end it with a shot of “trust?… trust..!”. But that’s just how I look at it. The rest looks great

Honestly... I am nervous because GTA V was amazing, and the goal usually is "bigger or better" for sequels... Can VI live up to that? Idk... Big shoes to fill... But, I will say this trailer did a good job on making me cautiously optimistic... (Now about the female protagonist... I will be mad... If they don't have 2 more female protagonists you switch between GTA V style... Not because I want an only female protagonist GTA game... But because I revel in the tears of whiny man children who hate seeing women as player characters in games)
It seems to be a Bonnie and Clyde story, so you only play as them both.
Just to clarify the trailer just got leaks like 10 hours prior to the trailer official release. They tend to show their trailers one year in advance before the official game release, so basically the timeline fit.
GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas both have male protagonists. Any further back isn't worth playing because the graphics would be liken to playing Pong. I never played GTA 4 and GTA III i haven't played yet, but I do have. I for one am beyond stoked there is a female protagonist. I've been playing V exclusively on my PS5 for a few months. I can't wait for 2025.

Oh btw, I know you chose this title for clickbait (understandably so), but I think it will only fuel the opposite side (haters) who just see the title to feel reassured and to complain even more. So maybe you wanna change it now 2-3 days later (after you've got the majority of clicks). Just a friendly recommendation tho.

Have never been all that into GTA. Have never beat any of the entries, and probably won't get this either but Rockstar always impresses me with it's graphics.
The storylines are definitely worth experiencing, imo. I like GTA 5 and GTA 4 the most, but I know some people love Vice City.

There are exceptions on both sides. But exceptions don't change facts. That's why there are more men in prison than women. And that's why boys like action and shooting games, Guns, Tech. And that's the reason why men are in military and in many countries, military service for all men is mandatory.

gta 5 was announced in nov 2011. It came out in sept 2013.
gta 4 was announced at e3 2006. It came out in april 2008.
