It was really fun watching it with you guys. It is such a funny crazy movie and breaks a lot of rules but that's the crazy thing about democracy. Free expression.
funny bit of true trivia, Elon Musk quoted the line "it needs to be more pointy" when they showed him the first rocket for space X
Watch 3 idiot movie
Hey guys, Jiddish is the language which Jesus/Isa spoke. Greetings from Germany ✌🏼
@@CptRedexCC-- really? I would of thought it was Aramaic
It's a very Aladeen movie.
I completely disagree, I think it was a very Aladeen movie.
😃🙁😀☹️😄
I think we can all agree to Aladeen
@@516Mel I don't know about others but I Aldadeen to Aladeen.
You thought it as Aladeen? I think it was Aladeen though.
In the helicopter he is telling how he crashed his Porsche 911. Luckily, he ordered the new model: the Porsche 911 2012
This scene killed me when I first saw it. My sides hurt so bad from laughing.
I think this scene and the first time I saw the falling down the mountain scene from the movie Hot Rod are the two hardest laughs of my life
Yeah, also he wearing that bombkinda jacket to fix his curve back
I made myself a back brace....
I died 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
He was street louging down Dawes hill in Coquitlam in hot rod and crashed it was hilarious 😂 @@Cauldronb0rn
I always thought the character was 2/3 Muammar Gaddafi and 1/3 Saddam Hussein. Funny reaction.
Nah, its either Aladeen or Aladeen
@@alfonsomartin3770 you’re right, definitely Aladeen.
More Turkmenistan really, but also very Aladeen.
What did you know about these two people? Nothing, literally nothing
I assumed it was 100% Kaddafi
Elon literally used the "pointy rocket" line at spaceX... no joke
The speech that he made when he ripped the constitution...HE DESCRIBED EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENS IN AMERICA.. and yall said he described Algeria. 😂
Can't blame em, they don't live in this crazy ass country.
What do you mean? Of course out of all the citizens of the USA they would want both George Bush sr and George Bush jr to be President, and Bill Clinton to be prez along with his wife Hillary Clinton to run as president. Sure it might start to seem like only a few chosen families can run the US.
But seriously, Truthstream Media made an excellent point in "These 100 Secrcet Societies Prove Who Really Rules America." There is a shadow powerstructure, but it's not just about bloodlines.
Who said it can't be both?
oh shut up.
It's so obvious that the character was a mix of Ghaddafi and Saddam, the women bodyguards and the golden weapons...
I have so much respect for you for being open to laugh at this silly movie.. it only proves that comedy brings people together if people are open minded and not offended
We should all laugh about ourselves and this chaotic world we live in
Yiddish is a germanic based language with lots of Hebrew lone-words spoken in European Jewish communities. Hebrew was already a mostly dead language by the time Jews got to most of Europe, I believe.
This is going to be good
immediately was like, "oh, I gotta see this.."
The marathon thing actually happened in reality but not in arab country but in Turkmenistan. Ruling dictatir participated in horse riding. He failed from horse, but still was declared as winner
Wasnt he also the one changing words xD
@jericogaming1952 no it was he's predecessor who changed names of the months to names of his family members 😭😃
Funny movie, i cant wait to watch. It seems you might be on your way to Borat. Lol.
I've always thought he was primarily making fun of Gaddafi but there are probably a bunch of different influences for the character in there. It's cool hearing your perspective on the movie!
I think you guys understood this movie better than I did, and I've already seen it.
25:30 he's actualy speaking this sort of broken Hebrew there. it was so funny watching this as an israeli :D
The dictator here is inspired by different crazy things different dictators have done. The ones primarily drawn from are Gaddafi, Idi Amin, Saddam Hussein, the Assads, a dictator of Kazakhstan, and Kim Jong Il
very aladeen
Ive watched this movie at least 25 times.....lol....its very aladeen
I'm glad you got to experience the dictator, I showed this movie to my best friend Louis when we were at my dad's. I also recommend taking a look at Bruno and Borat those movies are a hilarious and crazy experience. I'm not sure if Sacha Baron Cohen is crazy or a mad genius, I know one thing I'm glad that he's around to make these kind of comedy movies. Have a nice day guys.
I absolutely loved your reaction to this one, it was absolutely hilarious. It’s great getting to learn from you two and to hear your perspective on this film as the average American isn’t aware of all the political messaging relative to the Arab world. I highly recommend watching the film Lawrence of Arabia, it’s a classic, and involves the uniting of the tribes in Arabia against the Ottoman Turks.
After which the West backstabbed them like always.
Love your videos. Just found and subbed to your other channel. Keep on keeping on guys!
Love your channel and videos guys!!
Been waiting for these guys to reaction the The Dictator for a longest time
Sometimes comedy is so close to reality it’s uncomfortable. But of course everything is exaggerated for comic effect.
This move is solid gold funny!
You're gonna be amazed! This IS great!
Guy on the right look like an algerian james franco!
omg now that you said it i cant unsee it...
To us the Dictator is portraying Muammar Gaddafi.
Awesome reaction!
The thing I love about Sacha Baron Cohen, he plays Arab characters, and he is Jewish. The movie Borat that he also stars in gives a punch to the Jews. He is a true comedian.
You guys are hilarious 😂😂 great reaction
Yiddish is a mix of Hebrew and German
Great reaction H Brothers.
Yoooo you guys should do Borat next! Much love keep up the videos!
This is John Madden from Pawtucket Rhode Island United States I love your content I think he's a great actor
Fun video ^^ Wish you both the best!
Thank you! You too!
Great reaction! I was really impressed how well you got all the jokes, even the subtle ones. Sasha Baron Cohen is disturbingly funny. It seems as if he has no filter.
So good!
خوك مغربي امازيغي مرحبا@@HABIBIBROTHERS717
you two are great from NZ
found my new favorite channel
You guys should watch the interview next. It's good and has a similar vibe
You two are really pleasant to watch :D God bless and greetings from Germany
You are so kind
I enjoy hanging out and watching movies with you guys. Keep it up…. And you should do more Harry Potter movies.
Thank you! Will do!
I knew you guys would love this.😅
War so lustig eure Reaktion 🤣💪🏾 Gruß aus Germany 🇩🇪
First time I heard an Algerian song was back around 2001. The music section of Barnes and Noble had an international section where you could hear songs on a headset. They happened to have one from Cheb Mami and I bought it. Still love it. But at the time I had no idea what language it was in or where it was from, i figured middle-eastern. Years later I had a co-worker from Syria and played him some on a walkman. He said it was Arabic with a Moroccan accent. Eventually I looked it up when I finally got the internet around 2010 and found out it was Algerian. Lol. It was a different world before internet was available every moment.
Sacha Baron Cohen is a British actor born to Ashkenazi parents , he speaks Hebrew fluently
That "Clean up on aisle floor" scene 😂😂
This is a great reaction!!!
You should check out Bobby Lee when he was on MadTV.
🤣
This reaction was settled to be epic and didn't disappoint
before i watch, i know this is gonna be wild
If you have not seen borat you need to it's a must He is a genius Sacha baron Cohen The biggest troll out there
This movie was very aladeen! I would recommend aladeen aladeens out of aladeen aladeens!
Great reaction show!
“Don’t Mess With The Zohan” (Adam Sandler) would be another great reaction!
It's funny but tbh it has a weird way of portraying palestinians tbh. Im not talking about the obvious satire but in general, they give the israeli charachters nuance and the palestinians are just terrorists, except for the one who isn't and her borther is a terrorist. Makes sense though Sandler is a jew and supports Israel..
Really funny movie, you guys should react to Idiocracy first i thought i was a comedy, but realized it was a documentary xD
it was very interesting seeing two middle eastern men watch this movie. this movie is brilliant. it is NOT making fun of arabs or americans -- it's making fun of the people in charge of middle eastern countries and the united states. you know... the idiots. it's making fun of conservative middle eastern and american dummies. seems like you guys got that. satire and irony are powerful tools for storytelling. love your channel!
its true the people in the countries are usually not the idiots its the people in charge that are that brainwash theire own people beliving certain things and both west and east part of world has the exact same issue
Genuine question. Do you guys wear your headwear normally when lounging or do you wear it for the CZcams show?
Aladeen for watching this movie.
I love this movie! Even with Anna Farris in it! Lol
She’s one of the funniest women actresses
I just got a hidden reference I never noticed in this movie. The dictators name is Aladdin and his palace is the sultans palace in Agrabah.
The female bodyguards are a parody on Muammar Gaddafi
Based on where it showed Wadiya at the beginning it looks like it occupies the same land as Eritrea
Oh subtitles for the helicopter scene would've made it better.
Great reaction tho!
Remember to press the aladeen button and aladeen😂 honestly the movie is absolutely hilarious 😂😂
This movie is a gem!!
Great Reaction Video
Could you do Team America: World Police? 😅 Please brothers.
habibi come to dubai!
He takes a lot of style and the female bodyguards from Gadaffi in Libya
Oh this is gonna be hilarious
Don't mess with the Zohan next 😅
Such a good movie
These guys remind me of my facial hair, they seem cool, I wish i could hang out.
Welcome to absurdist humour! You should watch Airplane! with Leslie Nielson!
Yiddish is a language which originally came from Germany, it’s a mixture between Hebrew and German, the Jewish people used that language to communicate during the times of the Warsaw ghetto,
why not hebrew?
Yiddish is a Jewish language derived from Hebrew with origins in 9th century Germany.
With the "new world" era of America. Communities of Yiddish speaking Jews found their way to the USA.
As a result there are still communities in the US where you can find people speaking Yiddish.
With representation in pop culture as well as more conventional forms of language spreading, many are familiar with some Yiddish words without necessarily being aware.
"Chutzpah" meaning "audacity" is common one.
When are you coming to the US?
Ive been waiting for this. I recommend watching Lawrence of Arabia. It's a very famous movie.
If you didn't watch it yet, please watch - Dances With Wolves - 1990 - Kevin Costner - it's about the early 1800s in western America and the Native Americans and the history of our people in the early 1800s
Fun fact, because of this round/pointy rocket thing, Elon Musk said his Starship had to be pointy after watching the movie!
this is fun
Just a few facts:
This movie was written and produced by:
Sacha Noam Baron Cohen, who also play the lead role, he was born into a Jewlsh family.
Jeff Schaffer, David Mandel and Alec Berg they are also Jewlsh.
Crazy that Ben Kingsley was in this 😂
YES YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME LOL
We should continue to mock the idea of dictators in this way. I’m afraid people in my country are getting into the idea. We need a movie like this about Eastern European dictators.
Self humour = intelligence
Aladeen was speaking Hebrew in the helicopter scene 😂
Your reaction is 100% aladeen
Sacha Baron Cohen is known for movies like this, outrageous satire.
have you guys watched harry potter or dexter? can you do that
You need to reduce the difference in volume between you mics and the soundtrack valume.
Pointy bombs are very Aladeen.
I somewhere heard that “Arabic language” in this movie is actually Hebrew with different pronouciation so for the western people it would sound like arabic language. Don’t forget that Sascha Baron Cohen (Aladeen) is actually Jewish so it would make sense.
Not this extreme
Yeah this extreme 😂😂😂
This film basically is based on the stereotype of the Arab Dictator, I think mostly a comedy version of Muammar Gaddafi and maybe Saddam Hussein, but mostly I think it's based off Gaddafi. For example one of Saddam's sons literally made an elite unit with Darth Vader helmets. Meanwhile Gaddafi had an all female body guard unit which is exaggerated/made fun of in this film as well. Basically making fun of the lets say ridiculous things some of these guys did.
And Saddam Hussein body double was also shot. So it is def also Saddam who he makes fun of
This movie is more Aladeen than I remember
It looks 100% inspired by Gheddafi's Libya. But Gheddafi dressed more ridiculously
This is hilarious
Watch the interview next please
Sasha Cohen is One of those Artist who WILL PUSH BEYOND LIMITS of COMFORT to Reveal PEOP,E at THE TRUE NATURE IN HIS BORAT SERIES
You skipped the best part when you skipped the intro 😭😭
The guy who played Aladeen also played Borat and ali g if yall know who they are
You still live in the middle east, or have you moved to America or somewhere?
How about: Don't Mess With The Zohan (2008) Adam Sandler, Israel & Palestine culture clash comedy in New York City
Absolute classic
