@@zeolol9817 SBDs are not competitive even without bombs they are very heavy because of armor and equipment. The battle of Midway is a prime example of what happens when unescorted SBDs go against Zeroes…. They die… fast. If this was real life A) the Zeroes would have destroyed that plane within seconds. B) The dauntless would have hit the cliffs way before the Zero did.

In Call of Duty: World at War, one of the cancelled missions was a dogfight mission. Along with dogfight mission, one or two American campaign missions and British campaign were also removed from the game.

That fire rate on the Dauntless' rear-mounted machine guns hurt me. It's literally slower than the normal infantry version, when the aircraft variant was designed to have an increased ROF lol.
Admiral Yamamoto was killed on April 1943, so this mission takes place seven months after his demise. It'll be interesting if you come across wreckage of Yamamoto's plane as an easter egg.
Reasons why I hate the modern COD: Zeros can't even shoot down or out speed an SBD Dauntless, Type 100 SMG everywhere, revolver shotgun and STG44 as if the Japanese military used them.

Take Battlefield 1 for example, would you rather play a trench mud sitting simulator all day or play BF1 as it is? Arma, for example, is realistic, and it has it's own fanbase.

To that point WW1 being a trench war is a misconception. The Western Front was characterized by the trenches but the other theaters of the war were much different. Also i think it’s possible to make a fun arcade shooter like battlefield or CoD but replace the weapons so they match history… the combat would be slightly slower but it doesn’t have to be a milsim to respect history.

@@WlmFjb It’s not supposed to be. Call of Duty Vanguard is so supposed to be hyper-stylized WW2 fiction, kinda like Wolfenstein. HOWEVER almost every Wolfenstein game takes it time to at least give an explanation to it’s events/historical circumstances. Vanguard has the poorest story telling with no care for sustenance. So you just get random SJW characters reminiscing about battles they’ve “won” in a prison cell while their victory (escape from the prison and killing Friesinger) was practically handed to them. Sledgehammer simply gave up caring about it’s historical context and coasted on the WW2 era.

What these modern game companies don't realize is that we want realism and not all this "woke" bullshit.
