    Just finished! When I took the axle cover off the bearing poured into my hand. It was all dust. One the out piece of the bearing was left stuck in the cover. Replaced it all and no more noise! Thanks again man, you have no idea how grateful I am for your detailed video!

    Needed to do this after wheeler sitting all winter - now that I see it done, rather simple job to do. Good instructional video, thanks!

      Yep, the 350 rancher is the same idea, it just won’t have the shock mounted in the same spot as the rancher has a single shock.

    It was a good informational video. You could have greased the o ring at the end of the inner axle tube, and a quick gear lube change for the rear end seemed easy to do while you are right there

    Thanks. The position of the left axle seal is metal side from the outside

    • @caudronperformance
      @caudronperformance  Před 3 měsíci

      Thanks for watching, yes if you are using a honda seal it’s metal ring out, most aftermarket kits do not have the metal ring type of seal.

    Big socket works better than a ball hitch.

    Great video! Thank you so much! I need to change mine too but it's leaking oil could it be a seal from the diff?

    • @caudronperformance
      @caudronperformance  Před rokem +2

      It is leaking from the left hub area? It could be from the diff seals or from the rear engine out put shaft seal, I would recommend loosening the clamps on the swing arm boot (front left side of swing arm) if there is oil there it is likely the seal on the engine.

    Is the bearing supposed to be flush with the pipe after or do I need to press it in more, it won't budge down any further

    • @caudronperformance
      @caudronperformance  Před 2 lety

      It goes in further to allow room for the seal, was your bearing really bad? Any chance the old outer race is still in there?

  • @barry8458

    U didn’t grease the inner o-ring seal on housing side ….😳

    Does putting bigger tires than stock cause bearings to wear out quicker?

    • @caudronperformance
      @caudronperformance  Před 2 lety +1

      I would say that it adds a bit more load on the bearings but I would say that it makes a big difference within reason. I think that the riding style and conditions play a bigger part in how long the bearings last. Thanks for watching

    Is it the same for both right and left sides?

    • @caudronperformance
      @caudronperformance  Před 9 měsíci

      Not the same but similar, the right side you must remove the brake drum cover, drum and rear brake panel, it has 2 bearings pressed into it that will have to removed and replaced.

    Is the bearing model 60/32-2RS?

    • @caudronperformance
      @caudronperformance  Před 2 lety

      I’m not sure on the actual numbers on the bearing but the Trx500 part number from Honda is 91055-HN5-681 and listed with dimensions of 32x58x13mm and is sealed on both sides.

Just put your video in our link, and put our product link below your video, of course we have to ensure the product quality of bearings and seals, the same as the original bearing quality, I can give your compensation accordingly
