Whoa... is the NFL finally praising Landry as a star player? Is it finally happening?
yep!!!, I've been waiting ever since last season, now his greatness is finally being noticed
I was waiting soooo long for this. I'm glad he's finally recognized
IFTMB 123 yes!!!!!!!:)
He's a top 15 wide receiver at best
Banana Man that's pretty good considering how many good wide recievers there are right now lol
Didn't see the Vikings ball boy. Not impressed.
JoshuaH D lol
JoshuaH D mvp
You mean Larry Fitzgerald
Chris Carter
Lol
Holy shit.... Belichick actually spoke full sentences. What a miracle.
BAD WORDS STINCK
Lol
lol
@@llmontana1616 You spelled stink wrong
IKR
It was ironically Max McGee, Lombardi’s WR1, who made the first recorded NFL one-handed catch, in super bowl I, which led to him winning. I’m gonna wager he still got in his face about it afterwards. Gotta love Vince. RIP.
The stories not even over yet. Now Beckham and Landry are on the same team. And are about to make history in Cleveland.💯
I do One Handed Catches a the time
Thank you Landry and Beckham for getting tons of people that like football not be afraid to try to catch the ball one handed, and inspiring others to do it as well
Landry is way underrated
Jarvis is interesting. Hes like the worst YAC guy in the NFL. If you catch 112 balls...you should be easily over 1,000 yards receiving. But somehow he only came in at 987. Which means he catches it and immediately is stopped. Which is fine, but interesting.
I'd rather be underrated than overrated.
Brodha Sattva looking at how he was used that year which was on screens and quick outs you don’t get much YAC because they’re right there when you catch it. Now he averages about 14-15. So it’s not bad.
He’s way underrated
@Staci Yeager he’s wayyyyyy underated but he’s made a couple pro bowls
Who’s here after Landry and Beckham are on the same team again
Me
D.O.C Healing Drone me still mad odell left the giants
Goooooo browns
Trashhhhhh browns
@@Om-vu3js whatchu do in life 😂
no mention of Cris Carter
Ikr
or his also-HOF student, Larry
Or Randy Moss
nor jerry rice
finally giving landry the credit he deserves now we just need a better qb that can make him even better. Lamar jackson
yes
Cheesy Baller yes somebody that understands
better tank this season for the draft then.
we dont need to tank were already so bad that were gonna lose a lot regardless
well you are all actually doing okay
I'm glad you guys included larry fitzgerald.
@Braden Cowart you too
if Odell didn't try to catch everything one handed, he wouldn't have so many fucking drops.
W
Lol don't deny the truth sweet cheeks. Odell's got like 10 drops this year.
A lot of the problem is Eli isn't accurate enough either. He just throws it up cause he knows Odell will find a way to catch it
Beckham has Four drops this season. FOUR.. Brandon Marshall of the jets leads league with Five... Please actually check what the hell youre talking about before posting a comment or reply. 10 drops? thru 6 games.. do you actually watch football, or just make guesses.
Kimberley Brennan Haha so he's second in the league in drops? Good to know. yeah, you really showed me.
Not enough credit given to Moss...
Man thats what I'm saying no credit to Moss at all
Beckham already breakin records better than moss
Ryan Behie Odell is WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY BETTER THE MOSS BOI
moss doesnt get too much credit cause he is not an NFL "darling" like some...
different rules. I realy wanted to see mr crybaby go ober the middle when dawkings, lewis artwater had license to kill.
"Its amazing how those balls stick to their hands"wtf Jeff
I want to see it without glove doe
I would also love to see that to lol
Me too.
I think those gloves have a grippy texture to should ban them and see if they still catch the same
I'll bet they're here to stay. I'm sure the NFL likes all those fancy one-handers for the entertainment & marketing value.
they woulda banned them by now if they were really grippy. They get them checked before every game
I can't believe everybody forgot about the best one-handed receiver ever.... Cris Carter
TheKeloWeez for real
I agree cris carter the G.O.A.T wide receiver
@@charlettedieuseul1972fr
when ben mcadoo doesn't like one handed catches
lmao
he didn't like wins either
Not taking anything away from OBJ and JL but... Carter is the best in the history when it comes to one-handed catch
thank you no one even knows who he is even though he's a hof
Luis Turner thank you my man for giving the greatest hands (Carter) some credit where credit is definitely due...I thought nobody was gonna bring him up and I'm glad I read this
Luis Turner L
King Reams how is that an L? not sure if troll or sinkhole of stupididty
Michael DiMatteo how is that idiotic? the man is telling the truth, most kids now a days dont know a good amount about Cris Carter....
absolutely love these 2!!!
I will never forget OBJ. He was a special player
odell didnt break the internet, hillary broke the internet
they act like odell invented one handed catches.
Because he did :/
not really, it was around before he just made it more popular
No one really knew about it until him and Jarvis came around and made them left and right
Ethan Butler " no one really knew about it" u sound dumb
Ok then?
i remember watching nfl sunday coutdown and cris carter competed with keyshawn johnson for who can make the most one handed catches thrown by those machines and cris carter was just catching it with one hand no gloves left and right like it was nothing. That guys is an animal.
I remember back in the 90s getting together with friends and family to play some football at the park, and we were making one handed catches back then. The one handed catch has been around for a long time. Even if it was considered an act of desperation, when you couldn't get a second hand on it.
Why do people not acknowledge Cromarties Interception against the Colts back in like 2009
This disrespectful af to Moss
Odell's catch was so good it could be a 5 star rated movie
AY DRE AND KAY LMFAO
i saw that too
I peeped that 😂😂😂
Ayeeee that's Dre drizzle at 6:19
I say obj is overrated for that one catch, I say Landry is better than Beckham because of his consistency
Conn Man Odell is the 3rd best wr in the NFL. Only an and Antonio are better. I admit, he is imature and everyone hates him. But he is good
I don’t hate odell
Boy get your package looking dog on some were
@@electrify9708 you ugly
Odell is overrated as hell. AJ Green is 3rd only bested by Julio and AB.
as a fan I absolutely love this. true skill
I wish I can see Odell back in the games and he’s my favrorit player and team go giants👏👏👏
5:51
“Odell *BECKUM* Jr.”
So, in a way... are QBs getting more inaccurate?
Also, the only reason they talking about Landry is because he played with Odell at LSU, which pisses me off. He is too good to be living in Odell shadow
James Burgess it's cuz Jarvis also had a crazy 1 hander the fact that he went to LSU with Beckham is just like another big detail
James Burgess also the only reason Odell does one hand catches are because of juice
James Burgess exactly bruh
James Burgess like Eli said quarterbacks throw more meaning quarterbacks sometimes have to "throw receivers open" if anything this makes quarterbacks more accurate today, when the receiver is open a good QB rarely misses. The completion percentages have risen over the years.
James Burgess to be honest Jarvis is better and I'm a giants fan and love odel
1:02 now their both on the browns ( my favorite team)
and now Landry and Beckham are on the same team!
The one handed catch is the most beautiful display of athleticism and grace. Nobody does it better than OBJ
6:21 DRE DRIZZLE
yea lol that is hilarious!!
keep up the good work on your vids Dre and thanks for responding
MlgDonuts y are u here lol
i'm telling my mom!LOL
MlgDonuts I meant Dre lol
I honestly feel like Odells catch instantly become a historical moment
“Don’t be pretty be good” facts
I had no idea that Jarvis Landry had hand! He makes it look so easy. Even better then Odell!
As a cowboys fan, I love seeing Odell's catch over Brandon Carr. Because the cowboys still caught the W that game.
k3vin SHUT YO BITCHASS UP
k3vin lmaoooo
W from a Giants fan
As a giants fan, I love seeing the cowboys beating us that game. Because the giants still won 2 superbowl is the last 10 years and the cowboys haven't!
Ilyas A. Mehkri as a cowboys fan I love seeing Giants have 2 rings. Because at the end of the day Cowboys have more rings than the Giants and will always have more.
Chargers John Jefferson one handed catch in back of endzone is the greatest catch i've ever seen. Fouts threw a bullet in back of endzone vs Raiders and i could be wrong but i think it won them the game. Can't find it on CZcams. 1981 season i believe.
It's like odell is from another planet when he plays football
The gloves make catching a football 300% easier
Farmer Nate that's not true it's all skill
Max benson it's like half skill
Farmer Nate you dumb af
Does it make it easier to catch, yes but does the glove catch it for you, no. I'm a receiver and I purposely avoid gloves at all cost because every time I made a one handed catch and people would say it's because of the gloves. After hearing enough of it one day I just took them off and since I've gone without them. Now after making the same catches I tell them, "It's the gloves😉."

The Catch that made me popular? PFFFF easy... - Odell Beckham Jr.
That tip from jarvis work 👍👍👍🏈🏈🏈
love it!
Who remembers when you caught it one handed: “ODELLLLLLLLLLLLLL!”
6:57 yall know this was the OG one handed catch
oh oh I’ve done the same before it’s awesome u kinda get more respect lol
Who dad in the NFL
oh oh a
Jarvis landry created the one handed catch but odell is the one who brought it into the nfl
True
pearson davisjr Davisjr actually I would sry Cris Carter “created” it
Landry is finally getting the respect he deserves
how many don't have gloves?
oh snap did anyone else see dre? 6:19
MattDaBaller
MattDaBaller Oh yeah. I was Like Wow
Best one I ever seen considering the ships on the table was Gronk’s vs the Broncos.
LSU putting out them WRs. OBJ, Juice, and Randle all getting love!!
5:42 when you wake up for school and realize your school is closed because of snow
Takoda Freeman when you live in Texas🥺😥
Underrated comment 😂😂😂
Or a pandemic
More like "the evolution of gloves"
Spoken like someone who never played football.
The gloves definitely make it easier, but in their old college training vids, they do it barehanded so im sure they can do it ;)
Andrzej Rydzewski It makes it so much easier but it still requires effort
No it is truth !! It's way more easier to catch the balls with the gloves than without
You still need hand eye coordination
OBJs catch was great and he is a absolute stud but juice Landry deserves more spotlight and he is finally getting it so people can finally see how great of a player he is
And today Jarvis and O’Dell are playing on the same team again for their first game of the season
I wish I could catch like that
Man i really hate to hate but...
I have never heard of anybody saying "oh Jarvis Landry Catch" ....
Sean Im Yes Odell's catch is more popular but Jarvis is great about making circus catches like that. It's just a shame tannehill is his qb
Mr Brownstone Tannehills getting better
Yea same
When Beckham made that catch. That's all that my friends talked about. We used to try to do that catch all the time
I’ve watched this video sooo many times.
Honestly not being a hater but take the gloves off and I want to see these same catches! Dallas Clark made great catches without gloves
Cooper Ward he also played at a time where stickum was legal..no disrespect my guy Belitkinoff also used it
Cooper Ward there is a video with odell catching one handed without gloves
but its rare to see it in games now a days
Every reciever in the nfl wears gloves. It helps them keep a better grip on the ball
So They Arent Going To Ask Deandre Hopkins about his opinion on the catch vs the Giants tho ? That was better than Odells Catch.
Not really
@@irinaabdulkina4074 yes really
Jarvis is so under rated I’ve been a fan of him sense his been drafted in 2014
Landry is so consistent with his greatness.
baseball been doing one handed catches since the game was created, the disrespect in this video is unbelievable. ...hahaha
They can't is 2 hands as often
vannypan26 cough* water polo cough*
this is true xD
They are catching a big ball with one hand, its hard because it can slide through. Baseball uses a big glove with a small ball, makes it easy.
+Aust O it was a joke
Never heard of a Jarvis Landry catch
Look up Jarvis Landry single hand grab vs the Colts.
“Put this to music” BATTLE MUSIC INTENSIFIES
6:58 that low quality footage high school-looking game, the catch was way more impressive than obj tbh
If Odell says the gloves don't help why doesn't he try it without them
Chargers Hackenberg I had Hackenberg on my Madden 17 Chargers franchise. Won me the AFC Championship when Rivers got injured...
True
he has during warmups before
I’ve tried catching my high school quarter backs pass without gloves and he threw the ball so fast it rashed my skin, imagine an NFL QBs pass, it would rip my hand to pieces
Because try catching a ball thrown at you at a high speed. But never mind that since you won't have that athleticism. The ball will just hit your head and makes you look dumb.
They make it seem like they made one handed catches popular which is bullshit
they didn't invent them, but one handed catches popularity has exponentially increased.
two 🐐's
Odell is awesome
Odell didn't make the one handed catch popular...megatron did
18 Jsingh idk, I saw Randy moss do it first
That's what I was thinking. I'm sure he wasn't the veryvery first, he was just the first to make it look easy, plucking it out of the air while looking in the opposite direction.
Cris Carter showed Randy how to do it lol
It really takes not that much skill for a one hand catch. I can make a one hand catch, but you usually don't get the reception if you try with one hand. Under certain conditions you should try a one hand catch, but in my opinion if you have the chance, use both hands, of course unless you wanna get known for a single catch and not play well otherwise ahem ahem Obj
ok cool now try one hand dive catching a football in the endzone with one db holding your left hand and a another db trying to catch the ball and tell me if it doesnt take that much skill
and by the way if u didnt see in the play the db was holding onto his left hand which made it hard to catch it with both
Conn Man OBJ is one of the best and most consistent receivers in the NFL, he averaged 1,300 yards a seasons and multiple TDs he’s a multiple time pro bowler so quite literally you don’t know what your talking about
yo i remember after odell’s catch couple weeks later everyone at recess was like throw the ball up so i can odell it memories
0:36 the top 4 receivers of our generations
If you are a college player catch one handed all you want. If you are high school and below, don't do it. Develop hand strength and hand-eye coordination.
Strength those forearms and you won't need gloves
and big hands
Bout time Jarvis Landry got some SHINE!
Its actually nice to be a browns fan and be proud about it lol.
5:22-5:30 is why beckham is immature. good players dont stare over and over again at the good plays they make. they stare at their worst plays from last week and figure out how they can get better.
Shut the fuck up you sit there and act like you know what all great players do when you're probably unathletic as fuck
I think he was overreacting. the director probably told him to exaggerate the whole situation.
salt much and hes right you know
Jonathan James sorry, did i make a fanboy giant fan butthurt? do you ever hear of guys like larry fitzgerald staring over and over again at one play?
luke kuechly does nothing but watch game film. i dont need to be athletic to know that the best players in the nfl are film room junkies.
Who cares if hes immature, hes already better than Randy Moss
DeAndre Hopkins and Larry have better hands than Odell and Landry.
Moise Joassaint no XD
Moise Joassaint maybe Larry but not Hopkins
Peyton Overall
Hopkins made more spectacular catches than Odell and dropped less. How does Odell have better hands??
it doesn't matter if hes made more spectacular catches idiot
If that were true, Wouldnt they both have better numbers than Beckham and Landry over the last 2 years.. actually do some research and go look.. because they dont. At the Receiver position, the Numbers tell you everything. QBs numbers are effected by tipped balls, Dropped balls, wrong routes being run by WRs, .. RBs are affected by poor Oline play, ... WRs have their numbers in their control. Catch the ball, Pick up yardage, TDs, in their own hands. So WRs Statstend to be a true evaluation of a WRs. The Only thing that effects a good WR is a bad QB. if you have a decent to Good QB, a WRs numbers are in his Control.
Bro that’s lit
I was 10 years old when i caught a one handed interception on my knees hope i make you proud landry
They started the one hand catch.....
Now on the same team together
Crazy to think they’re both on the same team now
4:18 looking back at this video I never realized how difficult this catch was to make 😳
In Beckham's catch, he looks like the guy in every movie that just barely reaches out to get something in slow motion
I love jarvis
0:44 Steve Raible. He is underrated. great broadcaster
One hand catches look so easy but there SO HARD!!!
2:47 LOL
Odell just made the one handed catches more popular he didn’t invent them but he was good at it
This was the evolution of skilled move that only few would try, to a move that makes you look like everyone else.
Now its 2021 and they both are on the same team and both healthy. With those two on the outside and Chubb and Hunt running the ball is gonna be hard to stop the Cleveland Browns!
Thanks Odell
