Ever since I heard Drew first narrate a story on CTFDN, I have been absolutely hooked on his work. Both his writing and voice talent is amazing and I am so happy each time I start a new story of his. The comedic snippets of the Drew Blood: Dark Tales podcast is fantastic too. Mr. Drew Blood, please don't stop narrating and writing for all us fans, at least for a good while longer. Don't know what we would do without you. 😉

Pinocchio is already a pretty sadistic tale, so making it a horror story is genius.

This Curtis guy could be the new Lovecraft if this story is a typical illustration of his writing style - I'll definitely check out more of his stuff!

@@LordCommanderSpaceAlligator I was merely referring as to how the author has the ability to leave the reader with angst ridden, slightly disturbing implications within one's mind at the conclusion of the story ie style rather than content.
That being said, there is a style and content to your comment which has also left me slightly disturbed because I find it in some way - strange.

I thought Pinocchio was a soul of the kid that the guy who is carving him trapped his soul in there to make it so the puppet could move on its own. I'm pretty sure that's what I heard is the wood carver tried over and over and over he kept sacrificing children over and over and over until he found Pinocchio

You’ve really grown on me Drew and have quickly become one of my favorite story tellers. Was going to say that you rank alongside O.J. (Not the football player) and J.H..... but after that some people call him Drew Blood but I call him Drew Blood, I think you might be taking the lead.
Realistically it’s really cool how it seems that all three of you have stories that fit your delivery so perfectly.

Never will I look at that name, Pinocchio or hear that name Pinocchio and have the same g-rated vision I would have had before I heard this version of Pinocchio. OMG and what the f***. This version is .... I don't know,. I'm speechless. And a made-up story that has me speechless says a whole lot.
Thus story is so underrated...there should be more much more likes than what it has. The voice of the old man w the heavy breathing funny at the beginning reminded me of my pop-pops so much & I realize how much I miss him..oh I do miss him so! 😮💨😢😭🤧

Why is he saying the name so wrong? Had he never heard of Pinocchio?
Drew's using an accent.. and his pronunciation of Pinocchio is actually very close to the correct Italian pronunciation.. ("Pin-ock-yo") 🇮🇹 Should I criticize all non Italians for the fact they pronounce the name so differently ("Pin-no-key-oh")? No.. because we all have different accents.. and it's all fine and dandy! 😆👍
