I'm doing 2 ultra marathons this May. Spartan ultra, then 50 miler. 10 more Spartans, hyrox, and a marathon through the rest of this year.

Your videos have inspired me to start going to the gym. I started a desk job recently and my physique has really taken a nose dive. But energy is everything so I've started to surround myself with positivity and open mindedness in hopes that I can make going to the gym a habit. All the best to you and Kelsey :) also I think if your knee keeps flaring, give it a good rest more than just a few days otherwise it'll come back to haunt you every time (personal experience...). I'd say try exercising and working out in other ways or even things like swimming which is more gentle on the joints but still getting cardio in. Take 2 weeks off like that and do some physiotherapy at the same time with painkillers and it'll probably get better slowly. It sucks when it gets in the way of training and you want to keep going but you have to take care of your body when it tells you it's too much. I also know people who praised joint supplements for cartilage and bone and said it made a big difference to their joint pains so maybe worth looking into?
Congrats on the wedding!!! Also, taken from someone who has had a lot of knee problems in the past, very good chance you have inflammation in your knee. Keep up with rehab exercises for knee mobility, quad strength exercises (very important), and also wear a compression sleeve whenever you can. Should help hopefully. I've been loving all your and Kelsey's video for years now.
Through this series I have started having a better mindset about working out and being active. I used to think of working out like a math formula that I had to follow otherwise im doing everything wrong. Now I just focus on being active in whatever way I can and I feel much better about it. Have been able to consistently work out and be active since that mentality change.
