The ship is out of… and all the men are gone. A lone figure stands on the hill, wind whipping their hair. It’s a still moment. And it’s serious.
What else is there besides the battlefield and the strewn bodies?
What sort of promises will be kept? Can anyone turn back the hands of time?
No.
No one can say hello to their dads and brothers and husbands and comrades again.
Like sands sifting and scattered in time, all of them are not here… but the fact that they WERE, made all the difference.
Now … we are free.
