1:26 The van is what we call reaktionspatruljen or romeo for short. They are actually just normal policemen but they have more training and larger weapons. They were introduced after the terrorist attack in Copenhagen. The closest thing in the US to that is the SWAT (The car they use is a Volkswagen Caravelle and they are in the process of being replaced with Mercedes-Benz Vito with a 237 hp four-wheel drive engine)

In denmark it takes around 2 years and 4 months to become a like basic police officer 🙂
The first clip, you got the town hall up the road on the right, so this is smack center of Copenhagen & heavy traffic most of the time.

Denmark has shorter distances, lots of traffic (in the cities), and good to excellent response time overall. Highway chases are dangerous, and if the perps go on the freeway, it's easier to just block them at the next exit, than to do hi-speed pursuit. Our fleet is, I believe, adequate to the task. (I don't interact with the fuzz much, but that's my feel of it.)

only seen k9 in those stationcars/wagon models.
the danish police just got ducati motorcycles too. 0-100 in 3.2 sec.
not much can shake those off their tail.
MAN Hundegruppevogn - K9 Group Waggon. Holds up to 6 officers and 12 dogs. Used mostly for training, but as here, also in riots (guess it is underway to Parken)

Little fact about the wagons/vans: the unmarked vans can be a K9 van or a Romeo/SWAT officers. That are better trained and armed, it doesn't only carry crew for the most part, it's a special unit that is responding in the van. If it was a crew, it would be in a larger van that could be marked. The VW T6 is, as said, used by the special units.
