The arkfield is is my first full size olight I've ever bought, I'm very impressed, specifically for how it carries in pocket, like you said it disappears and feels very comfortable even in small pocket jeans.
The button UI is also very easy unlike many one button lights imo.

As en HVAC Engineer running around on construction sites a lot, one of my main tasks is to point on things. I think the flashlight laser combo could come in handy and looks much more durable then the Open Pro

That Arkfeld is really intriguing. I’ve enjoyed everything about my streamlight wedge except that its battery capacity is more than I need. I frequently need to use my light to draw people’s attention to a particular object and being able to toggle to a laser for precision pointing would be *amazing*.

A suggestion brought on by watching the OTacle 2 segment. With a pry bar, let us know what the material is up front. That's a very significant data point. I haven't seen an in-depth look at the Arkfeld from you, will you be doing one?

I've totally given up on olight for defensive purposes. I've had too many issues with the warrior series tail switchs not working every time or turning on by itself too often. I've also broken two Odins as well as two PL Pro Valkyries and a Balder Mini. But I run my guns in classes and 3 gun matches. An the olights just don't hold up to lots of recoil or abuse.
They make an awesome utility light and work great for camping or hiking. But I won't trust one with my life or on a gun really. I still love my warrior flashlights and the i5T and i3T series are great little lights. So they still have a place.
But I've switched out the warrior mini 2 for a Surefire Stiletto Pro and all my weapons lights are either Streamlight or Surefire at this point.
If I'm going camping or need a work light I'll grab an olight. But if I'm about to step into some shit I want a Surefire.

I’m going to buy that one! All was great… until you said the blade wasn’t standard. What? Why would they design a utility knife using a non-standard blade? C’mon! • @b.griffinarmstrong8677

Do you happen to know the power of the laser? I looks like it was cut off in the video. Fun fact: Laser pointers are GREAT for scaring away geese at night. I have never had one powerful enough to try during the day though. If you know an area that issues with geese at night (ball fields, community ponds, parking lots, etc.) Try a laser pointer. I also find that green works better than red.

@@maxlvledc Until olight drops their proprietary nonsense (cables, batteries, ink cartridges, and so on) then there's still no justification even for the baton 3 + case cause all the case and light combo do is force you to carry a proprietary battery bank that only charges just that one device only.
