No, the purple progress form in the video is from the U6 DLC story where Hit has a dark “villainous mode” aura stacked on top of regular pure progress.

I think some of those villainous forms with the extra red in it are from the expert mission bosses that have the dimension ability. That would be when the boss is getting buffed from the crystals you have to break.
