Cyclist was passed & he survived to carry on being a cretin looking for content .
I was on a bus today on a steep, narrow road with a cyclist riding very slowly ahead. The driver slowed down and waited behind them for a substantial amount of time. All the while I was more concerned for the cyclist’s safety than the very minor delay they caused to me and the many other passengers. Some people really need to get a grip

Looks like bike stayed in bike lane and bus stayed in his lane after pausing for a safer passing opportunity. Nothing to see here so unsure why it's been posted??
Police took action against the driver. Being in lane is not enough, driver must still pass in a safe manner which they failed to do. Learn from it.
Passed in a very safe manner, especially after pausing to allow more room. Essex police clearly mistaken by prosecuting this.

If not safe to overtake, guess what the best course of action would be. It won't surprise you to know that I overtook the bus a few minutes later.

I always try and ride on the inside of the bike lane not the outside. That helps.
I am right in the middle of the cycle lane, my camera sits on the right hand side of my handlebars. The police took action against the driver, I hope this helps.

Wasn't close enough...this was a difficult choice a dislike for ingnorant bus drivers or the dislike for arrogant cyclists 🤔mmmm
