Laser Cutting a Flower Vase out of MDF on Longer 10W Diode Laser Cutter

  • Today I'm laser cutting a vase for Mother's Day on our new Longer Diode Laser Cutter. I had a ton of this stuff kicking around and its not something I typically love working with, but I wanted to try something new. The design fits snuggly over a mason jar and I think it came out pretty nicely.
    This would be a great one to do with kids as a Mother's Day gift because they'd LOVE stacking the lettered pieces and watching it take shape :)

    Great project! My wife also loves fresh flowers - I'd try this for mother's day but (1) we already have a ton of vases, and (2) I don't have a lot of MDF laying around (1/8" or otherwise) 🙂.

      The jars still in there. Keeps it nice and waterproof 👍🏻
