Megan - I have yet to actually watch the video and I very rarely comment on youtube videos but I just wanted to say how happy I was to see the email pop up from Patreon that you had uploaded. Christmas/New Years is a hard time of year for me and I've mostly been getting through it okay but last night was very rough for me with my anxiety. And I've been feeling the "hangover" from that today, so seeing this was a true delight. Your videos are so calming and help me relax so thank you ❤

thank you for sharing yet another collection of moments from your life with us. the holiday season is always the busiest for me and i am currently stuck in bed, recovering from covid and decidedly not celebrating with my family as a result, and this was such a lovely way to spend an hour between headache flare ups. as for the sugar paper, at least in my part of the united states, we call craft paper for kids construction paper. ngl, i like sugar paper better and will probably end up referring to it as such from now on. i hope that the transition into the new year treats you well xx

I have the same Moterm cover and got mine in March 2023 - it does lie flat for me now, it just takes a while for the leather to soften up 🥰 I use the big back pocket to stash leaflets and ephemera for cutting up later 😄

Was hoping you might post this month. Finally got my HON. I went with the hardback and while I like it, IDK how I feel about the ribbon bookmarks. I'm kinda wishing I'd gone toward the black gingham, but we'll see when I start using it properly. I hope you and your family had a happy Christmas Megan. Reading some of these comments it is a bummer that the holiday period can be challenging for so many, but I'm apparently not alone. I still need to do my monthly recaps for Nov/Dec and I'm going to try to do an annual recap on the first pages in the 2024 HON. Short nails look gas! Until next year....

love how different kind of notebooks or notetaking mediums lend themselves to different kind of spreads, think a type of structure with repeating spreads or their content type and the support that gives in whatever arrangement they exist in can work in one notetaking medium but not in another?
for me there's definitely that element of sometimes a spread type works for me for a while and then something shifts but i do also shift back! it's good to have the at-one-point working skeleton-spreads archived to move back to when i go back to that facet of me maybe for some reason? but i think i get how even in those needshifts the chosen medium to support the changed spreadneed might differ
oH i'm very much a jigsaw puzzle notetaker, with "slotting more thoughts in", i'm realizing haha love that image! found a reasonably prized used filofax (it's this lovely purple i was torn on the brightness of that at first but when i saw it in person the color just moved me which is so fun) for me it's still an unfleshed skeleton but the vision is to materialize some of my digital notetaking into it and this fuels my excitement towards that. i'm so into the luhmann zettelkasten system conceptually, big fan! so the flexible index card notion with how the filing works also really intrigues me
December was so insane for me as well. And it all ended with my family catching covid ugh I’m on the mend now tho. SO happy to see your upload. Hope you have a beautiful New Year 🖤
