Since I'm in L.a. soon to be living in NY and your in Atlanta how often will I have to fly to Atlanta to train if we start working you as my permanent coach?
It makes sense. Especially (ofc not only) for people who make their living from music and they want their work to be immaculate. Its mostly about how much we want to invest in our skill and of course, be able to preserve our voices for longer. ❤️🙏🏻

While I’ve never trained with a true vocal coach, I’ve been watching your videos for what feels like nearly a decade now, And must say your free videos have helped my voice immensely. I could imagine how much more progress I’d make with a coach. But sadly I don’t usually have the time nor money to go take paid lessons one on one with a coach. With that being said though, I’m beyond happy with how far my voice has came over the years being “self taught” from mostly your channel. I hold you to the same regard guitarist hold Marty Schwartz
I was just watching jekalyn carr work with her voice coach before hitting the stage. So yes its a forever thing.
If I wanted to become an Aaproach certified coach, how does that work? Your lessons are booked completely for a very long time (congratulations lol that’s amazing), so do you keep like free time where you train other people specifically to become a coach? I don’t know if you have a certification course or something, but idk how I really feel about those lol
Thank you! Our certification process begins with taking one-on-one lessons with a certified instructor (you can find a list of them on AApproach.com) . After at least 10 lessons, you can request that your instructor nominate you for teacher training. There are special group classes (Zoom) and one-on-one classes with me. I won’t get too ahead of myself here in the comment section. lol. But I recommend starting with a certified AApproach instructor, if you’re interested 🙂
Gladys Knight still have a coach alot of times in the early days her coach would travel with them to performances the famous the late Mr Maurice King who also coached all of the Motown acts he is so underrated but he was responsible for alot of the tight vocals harmonies of the Tempts Supremes tops vandellas Gladys Knight and the pips and Jackson 5.
