Dear Mr. Arceneaux. I'm recommending all my students to your course of study. Yours is the clearest, most effective, and accurate set of exercises I have seen online. I teach master classes in many universities and here in New York and my students are always looking for good resources. You have put together an accessible, efficacious course of study for singers of all levels. Bravo.
Good day sir... I was hit on my neck... And after that incident, my voice becomes rough and can't those notes I do normally hit before and each time I try singing high or low low, a kind of lump sensation will appear in my throat and I will get a contraction stopping me from singing high and I get easily cracked because of this incident... My real texture has been lost... What has happened to my vocal cords and will I ever recover sir, is being 3months this incident happened sir... I need a reply from you and recommendation sir...
I agree with chuck... this has been really helpful... also einstein stated trying something repeatedly and expecting different results is just plain SAD (trump impression) i struggled to be confident in my singing voice.. these awareness exercisses have been an EYEOPENER@@.
Getting yelled at to "shut up" is all part of the magical journey that is becoming a singer. Learning to ignore them as you continue practicing is another part 😌 #TheyCanStayMad
Thank you very much, for these exercises, just started doing, voice training and high notes are a struggle. Will definitely work with thes. God bless 🙏 ❤.

Same here. I just said (ala Robots), "My darling, that is the cry of the Deep Doo Doo Bird!" Her response was, "Keep that noise up and you will be in deep doo doo alright."
I've found using this warm up along with Sinatra's method of gargling olive oil and drinking a glass of warm green tea really helps ease the tension we're trying to get rip of with the warm ups while also having the throat well lubricated for increased range! Great video!
Dear Eric, This has helped me not only to gain strength and control without straining my vocal chords! It has also given me the confidence to be a part of my church's worship team. I am thankful to you for sharing this priceless warmup routine for free, for making it easy to follow, for convincing me at the beginning to ignore, or rather embrace the weirdness, and for encouraging me to give it a full try. It has made such a great difference to my voice. My voice feels fuller, does not break, and the vocal fatigue I used to feel in my throat has reduced drastically. With so little effort and so much benefit, vocal warmups are pure gold in terms of return on investment. I am going to stick to this routine and learn more about vocal warmups and voice training. I can not thank you enough. Thank you Eric! 🙏
I'm literally amazed right now because before this video my voice was not cooperating with me until I watched this video and did the exercises. As soon as it ended, I did what you said and sung and when I tell you there's some annointing in these exercises LOL!! On to Part 2!!
I tried these exercises for the first time today and what I experienced afterwards had me so SHOOK. My voice, which usually sounds strained when I sing in Soprano, sounded as smooth as velvet. My throat also felt so free and open. I really wasn’t expecting this. I had no idea something so simple could have had such amazing results- and quick too! I think that I’ll challenge myself and do these for a month and then come back with an update.
When I was practicing my dad came in my room and said"what r u doing? " I said "nothing" then he asked me " then what was that sound" I answered " I don't know, maybe it's coming from the neighbour's house" hahaha......
This is my FIRST time doing this exercise and at the end I felt my throat much more open than at the beginning, and my frequent song sounded better already. Can’t wait to see my progress over time, and thank you already!
This is a lovely gift to the world. Thank you for sharing your authentic self and your talent. One video and I can already feel my voice open up. I'm finding my inner voice and so much want my outer voice to play along!:)
Dear Eric, I believed in the necessity of a warn up, but never really gave it more than about 5 minutes, and I would just use a song in itself to be my warm up. I've been attempting to learn Pray by Sam Smith, and I'll be damned- hit notes I haven't hit before. You have made a firm believer out of me and a subscriber. Thank you for approaching this with humor and humanity 💜
Quick summary for anyone who needs it, hope it helps! - Do it every day (everything) - Good for all genres 1. Yawning (relax and open up the throat) 2. Gentle cough (feel the abdominal, sides, chest, and back muscles) --- Light gentle lip rolls --- 3. Light gentle lip rolls, like sigh-ing (throat stay relaxed and let the body work) 3.1. Similar to 3 but do it while shaking your head from side to side (like you're saying no) 4. Continue to shake your head from side to side but go from high to low note 5. Lip roll from low to high notes (tip: tense or lift up shoulders and lip roll while you relax) 6. Gently bent knees down (like squatting) as you lip roll from low to high note (body goes down, voice goes up) 7. Similar to 6's motion but high to low notes (voice goes down with your body)
I can hear& FEEL the difference. the words flow out more smoothly and my throat feels velvety rich. you gave me the iron to smooth out my voice. I couldn’t tap SUBSCRIBE FAST ENOUGH! Thank you!
Awwww You're amazing, I was told by my husband to yawn in the shower to open my vocals. I know this sounds so odd but he had passed away when I got this message and then to see this today, blows my mind at how awesome God is. Thank you.

Lixius - Felix Andreas Kühnert happens
As a 70 year old I am excited to try these lessons.
you are amaizing and full of life
You inspired me
aww that’s so sweet,
omg, I did this then sang, and my throat felt much more open! i’ve always been able to sing, but i’ve literally never warmed up. this was great!
Ritisha Saini omg😂😂
Wow so dumb😑😴😪
Lo

LOL :)))) Dont be shy own it!
i cant even do the lip roll :(((((
This is my FIRST time doing this exercise and at the end I felt my throat much more open than at the beginning, and my frequent song sounded better already. Can’t wait to see my progress over time, and thank you already!
Mr. Eric Arceneaux; thank you for your videos, they have helped me warm up my voice and make me feel stronger when I sing.

This is a lovely gift to the world. Thank you for sharing your authentic self and your talent. One video and I can already feel my voice open up. I'm finding my inner voice and so much want my outer voice to play along!:)
Here still, nearly ten years later. So good to be here! I use your videos for every show and recording session

hahaha, are you better now though?
I swear I am so blessed to be here. You're an expert for real in just a few minutes l feel a difference in my voice. God bless you.
Dear Eric,
I believed in the necessity of a warn up, but never really gave it more than about 5 minutes, and I would just use a song in itself to be my warm up. I've been attempting to learn Pray by Sam Smith, and I'll be damned- hit notes I haven't hit before. You have made a firm believer out of me and a subscriber. Thank you for approaching this with humor and humanity 💜
Quick summary for anyone who needs it, hope it helps!
- Do it every day (everything)
- Good for all genres
1. Yawning (relax and open up the throat)
2. Gentle cough (feel the abdominal, sides, chest, and back muscles)
--- Light gentle lip rolls ---
3. Light gentle lip rolls, like sigh-ing (throat stay relaxed and let the body work)
3.1. Similar to 3 but do it while shaking your head from side to side (like you're saying no)
4. Continue to shake your head from side to side but go from high to low note
5. Lip roll from low to high notes (tip: tense or lift up shoulders and lip roll while you relax)
6. Gently bent knees down (like squatting) as you lip roll from low to high note (body goes down, voice goes up)
7. Similar to 6's motion but high to low notes (voice goes down with your body)
