Also u should try the amundson savvy rider, its portable
if ya wanna catch bass without topwater, i highly recommend jig spinners or chin spinners, they are by far the most effective lure to catch bass in small creeks

Gotta watch the scoutes on the gill plate and the spike... both are like razors.
Some great surface takes there, got to love bass fishing and how they just materialise behind your lure before smashing it 👌🏽

Will carp or eels ruin your chances at catching anything? How many casts per hole before moving on?
Haven’t seen any carp in my streams but I see a lot of eels. Never had a problem catching bass near eels. I have around 5 casts each hole that looks good but real good spots I’ll have a lot more!
