Just wondering why you use the heavier leader than the braid. Bearing in mind that Australian Bass do not have big sharp teeth I'm not sure why you would do it. I fish a very snaggy river for bass up to high 40s and don't find it necessary. If I'm going to get busted off or pull for a break, I want it to be as close to the hook as possible. Interested to hear your reasons 🙂
So many gadgets plastics exotic reels rods leaders braid marketing apparel the objective seems clouded by the marketing... A 15 dollar rod and reel with a small long shank hook and a garden worm will catch bass not so much the brand's catching the angler
god i love our Bass. you're 100% right about the top water bite too, it's way more exciting when they boof on the surface
Of you want to catch bass on soft plastics , use a beetle spin ! 👍✔🎣
