      Hey @davidcarlisle6560, that is definitely a deadly colour and my wife's favourite. We still run a stack of ZMan models in the Electric Chicken, that you will find on our website www.tackletactics.com.au. Part numbers are included on the website and you can order through any store that stocks our gear if you're still struggling to track them down. All the best with the fishing. Cheers, Justin

    Hey mate, I got the 56mm nightmare switchblade. Is it effective for bream/flatties in an estuary? I've found South Aussie waters to be very challenging.

    • @tackletacticstv7687
      @tackletacticstv7687  Před měsícem +1

      Hey @bernieadam1985, hope all's well and you're finding a fish. The 56mm is a favourite for fishing deep schooled fish in impoundments and also deeper structure, bait and fish in the salt. It would be ideal for fishing deeper channel edges and drop offs and will catch mulloway, flathead and a wide variety of species. When targeting bream and flathead in shallower water (less than 3m) I would probably change to one of the two smaller sizes and fish it along the drop offs for flathead and over the weed and rubble for bream. If it is weedy and snaggy you can wind the Switchblade slowly over the top of the structure and if you find sandy patches in the weed or a clean weed edge then this can be deadly for hopping the blade on the bottom. All the best with the fishing. Cheers, Justin

    I would like to see all zman paddle tails to solid like the minnow z ya can fit with assist hooks with a twist best way is when one stretches material it pulls assists to a point were hooks are 3mm out from body but on the strike come out to a point of12 mm brilliant for troll or skipping give it a go best weight is 10g.

    Looks a bit like the pine river in north Brisbane? Is that where you’re hunting in this video?

    • @tackletacticstv7687
      @tackletacticstv7687  Před 9 měsíci +1

      Hey @ryanhill4091, I generally fish between the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast, but love to get further afield when I can. These techniques are very universal, so we prefer to break down techniques rather than locations as fish will move with season, tide, rain, wind and other variables... I generally say 'fish are where you find them', so cover plenty of water and get the bites. All the best with the fishing. Cheers, Justin

    Hi Justin, is the TT Switchblades for tailor fishing too? Cheers

    • @tackletacticstv7687
      @tackletacticstv7687  Před 5 měsíci

      Hey @scpk7366, the TT Switchblade and Switchblade+ has accounted for almost every popular fish in the river, estuary and impoundment and tailor will definitely eat them. They cast long, which is great if chasing tailor land based and can also be jigged vertically around bait that tailor are feeding on, making them a versatile presentation. When spinning them for tailor I have found that the key is to mix up your retrieve until you find what the tailor want. Try a slow roll (slow wind), burn and kill (wind and pause, and a lift and pause for starters. Natural colours have worked best for me and I always make sure I carry some pliers with me to manage an angry tailor with two super sticky trebles in its mouth. All the best with the fishing. Cheers, Justin

    • @tackletacticstv7687
      @tackletacticstv7687  Před 5 měsíci +1

      @@scpk7366 it would come down to casting distance required and area being fished. I like the 42mm as a great all rounder in the rivers and estuaries, with the 56mm my go-to for deeper water, faster currents, and when spinning the beach for tailor where more distance is required, along with additional weight and control in the wash and turbulence of the waves. I generally stick with natural baitfish colours and yellow / chartreuse colours can be a bit of a secret weapon. Cheers, Justin

    • @tackletacticstv7687
      @tackletacticstv7687  Před 3 měsíci

      Hey @ECHOEDITZZ, hope all's well and you're finding a fish. The TT Switchblade+ comes with a snap clip that can be moved between tow points to adjust the action / vibration. We tie a locked blood knot to the snap clip to fish this presentation. All the best with the fishing. Cheers, Justin
