    Are you sure the flattys start coming on the chew in the colder weather and water I’m pretty sure that’s not right doont they soughta hibernate in the colder weather?

      Yeah I’m not sure, cause when I go to lake Tyers during summer we catch heaps of big ones.

      I’m in Tassie mate and I catch em all year round. Our water drops to 8 degrees in winter!

      I definitely prefer winter mate but you can get them all year round

      Hey @gailsmith4125, Jarryd steps through two retrieve techniques that he uses for targeting flathead on the lower stages of the tide, along with the gear being used, and you can also pick up other tips from watching the video, including boat positioning, where he is casting to, retrieves and more.     Obviously you don’t know much about fishing flatheads will feed all year round same as all the fish do 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
