Stage 1: Cloning
We learned very early on that Vegapunk had succeeded in creating cloning technology. This technology was also mastered by Judge to produce his clone army. It was with this that Vegapunk created the Pacifista army modeled on Kuma “Human beings can be built!”
What was ever stopping Vegapunk from using this same principle to create clones of other people? Now we can see that that is exactly what Vegapunk went on to do.
The basis of this technology is the discovery of Lineage Factors/Bloodline Elements. This discovery is the cornerstone of all of the different factors that make up the Seraphim project. When Vegapunk discovered it he was arrested and MADS was absorbed into the World Government.
Stage 2: Gigantification
We learned back in Punk Hazard that Ceaser was working on gigantification experiments. Originally, these experiments were actually sanctioned by the World Government. It was said by Ceaser that Vegapunk was still working on the project as well.
Ceaser thought that Vegapunk was still failing in this experiment & he remarks on how he told him that the experiments need to be done on kids in order for the test subjects to survive. It seems that Vegapunk actually took Ceasers advice. As we can see that the Seraphim are kids.
However, there is one detail that Ceaser did not know about which Vegapunk and Judge did know. Ceaser believed it was not possible to simply “grow” humans from scratch, but Judge proved otherwise.
I believe that this explains the origins of the Seraphim Project and how Vegapunk has managed to create them. It is the combination of all but one of the experiments that we have been learning about throughout the story.
The key to all of these experiments is the concept of Lineage Factors. Every single one of the experiments that make up the project hinges on this concept. We are sure to get more answers about that soon.
Conclusion
To conclude. When you put all this together, it is no surprise that the World Government was scared of the discovery of Lineage Factors. It starts to make a lot of sense why they absorbed MADS into the WG instead of disbanding it and imprisoning everyone.

I feel as though the Seraphim, all be it broken in concept, have a very glaring flaw that appears to have been overlooked by most. As highlighted by the Seraph Mihawk's emotionally charged nature and appearance he's just a kid. Given the appearance of Boa's Seraph it really seems like this is gonna be the trend with the rest of the Seraphim we may not have seen yet. I predict the achilles heel of these shiny new Pacifista based Seraphim is gonna be lack of experience. The showing of Seraph Mihawk may just be an accurate portrayal of how he was as a child who hasn't yet trained, refined, and mastered the advanced techniques of the original. Sure they may or may not have a phase where they rapidly age to match the physical characteristics and strength of their counterparts, but they have nowhere near the know how of battlefield navigation or combat experience needed to hold up against those who have been deemed strong enough to act as a Yonko deterrent in the first place. TLDR I think the Seraphim's weakness is gonna be somewhat akin to that of Frieza in Resurrection F where he got his shiny new form and decided to use the form he just got with 0 training and got bodied because of it.

I have to say, the Mini-Boa is definitely what we could see Boa and Luffy's Daughter looking like, except for Black hair and skin that matches Boa's.
It's also scary to think that one of the reasons the World Government is attacking Amazon Lilly is to Acquire Boa's fruit for Mini-Boa.
The cloned children can grow up, theoretically get stronger, and be useful for a lot longer than someone starting out in their late teens, 20s or 30s.
personally, i think the reason momo's devil fruit was a "failure" is because it's lacking the zoan will of it's counter part. if you think about it, zoans can transform at will the second they consume a fruit. but momo struggled greatly.
the gorusei spoke of zoans having a will of their own, this is how the luffy's devil fruit evaded them for so long. what if that spirit is how a zoan user know's how to use their powers naturally, because their will and the will of the fruit mixed on consumption giving them a pretornatural knowledge of their ability's. because it was a reproduction momo's fruit is missing this will meaning he has to learn the hard way how to use it, he's doesn't have the advantage of a the fruits will automatically teaching him how to use his powers.
there are some holes in this theory, but i still think it's the best explanation. it also makes sense for zoans to have some sort of will because they give the power of living creatures after all, not just concepts or elements like logia and paramecia's do.
edit: if i had to guess, they are children either because they were used before they were ready. they will grow faster then normal into fully formed adults and we are only seeing their early stages.
or, the wg understands that most people don't want to hurt or kill children. for a military force, it's a pretty fucked up and also clear advantage. most fighters working against the wg are going to give these pacifista chances they would not give a grown person. and maybe that's enough to eek out a win or allow them to cause debilitating injury at the very least.

I feel like it’s more on the line that he wasn’t trying to extract Kaido DF but he was trying to get his Ogre DNA and turned that into a DF or for a funny moment and to show a quirk he’s a perfectionist and he called it a failure because the color for the dragon was wrong.
@@justynhill4814 if he had kaido to experiment on.. wouldn't he just clone kaido if that's what he wanted to do? the seraphim and the germa army confirm this is possible. why would he make a devil fruit trying to clone kaido when he could of just.. you know.. cloned kaido.
seems like he wanted to make a copy of kaido's fruit, but it was defective in some way. which isn't apparent since momo can do anything kaido can, with some difficulty. but the ability is there.

They are kids right now but it is highly possible that as they fight they grow up
(In my opinion they can grow up but it is millions of times faster than a normal person,for example the way I see it's that during battles they evolve and reach a higher power by transforming into their adult forms)

I'd imagine the child like forms are a reference to cherubs in classification of angels. Assuming they don't rapidly age, we may get some Seraphim that are adults to be representative of Archangels. Best candidates for that would be God Valley aged Whitebeard, Garp, Roger, and Rocks. Can totally see the WG turning their enemies into their enforcers.
I also think there's a chance we get a Seraphim based off Ace. The Lunarian power set fits way too well to make a replica of Ace (who was invited to be a Warlord) and it would be a very strong emotional element going into the final act of the series. Especially if we don't get to see Luffy visit Ace and Whitebeard's graves, I think Ace will be brought back this way (maybe as the Lucifer reference)
Seraphim is the plural of Seraph. You don't call a individual a Seraphim.
Let’s be honest about something… Between how powerful these sereph units are already and the world’s charming overestimation of A certain clown “emperor” of piracy (not to mention his ludicrous if often bipolar luck), The World Government probably took all sorts of artistic and otherwise liberties in making Buggies the most powerful of the lot. 5 bucks on a Buggy The Clown Seraphim wasting Mihawk and Crocodile before they can pull a “You have outlived your usefulness” on the real deal.
I'm worried that Smoker, Tashigi and the children they're protecting are going to see Dr. Vegapunk, oblivious to what he has created.
The scariest part of all is that Dr. VEgapunk, to me, was always shown as this "nice old man who just likes creating stuff for the betterment of the world..."
However, after we got a taste of Cesar, Judge, and now Queen... I have a feeling that DR Vegapunk is one sick and twisted old man.
Cesar did experiment using children, he would cause the children to go into crazy fits of rage, which I'm not sure caused them harm, but I do recall them really having adverse affects to the "Candy," in the form of heavy "Withdrawal" which chopper helped-them-deal-with/cured, and I do recall some of the children died?
Judge gave his wife some sort of chemical drinks in order to produce super soldier children, but I don't know if it actually hurt Sora(Judge's wife) or if she just hated the idea of having children that were "machines," who lacked empathy, aka complete Psychopaths. Judge also enhanced his children, but I don't believe they were harmed in that process. The clones seem to just be created clones, most likely lacking any emotion at all and are more like robots that can think analytically as a human soldier in the op world.
Queen.... i'm not too sure what queen did, I didn't watch/read most of Wano, but he seemed to have worked on himself with bio-weapon type stuff, which also is what happened with the "Ice-Oni Virus" that he used on CHopper and Co.
I do recall Queen making comments on how Sick Judge was, so Queen seems to be the least "Evil" of the 3. It's hard to say who is worse between Judge and Cesar. On one hand Judge created super-soldier children void of emotion, psychopaths who he, during Whole Cake Island, realized that they didn't even care about their father when he actually needed help, because Judge was never in a situation where he actually needed saving, which is where Sanji actually saving him... Fucks him up. He might actually try and reverse the "Damage" he caused to the other 3 brothers... That would be something amazing. But... Did Judge "Hurt" anyone physically? Ceasar was giving kids "Candy" that was making them into giants that caused them to rage, which eventually seemed to lead to death.
That comes to Vegapunk...
Vegapunk experimented on a living Kuma, and turned him into a living bio-weapon. Then, he killed Kuma, keeping him as a robotic AI bio-weapon. What's interesting about Oda, is that he introduced VegaPunk's knowledge as limited to taking a living being (Kuma) and modifying him with robotic parts and AI to help make him into a Stronger Cybernetic version, and then the "Pacifistic" being other robotic Kuma. However, the Pacifista seemed to be robotic Kumas initially, but now we see that VEgapunk actually Cloned Kuma but just kept them as robotic in thinking, and not have any thoughts. However, these new beings are much different, but at the same time, they listen to Coby, as if he was their father. Very interesting.
Now we see that Vegapunk has perfected his use of Cloning to create these Children-LIke versions of the Warlords.
@@lukebrindax7465 Maybe that's why Blackbeard kidnapped Coby, he must have info regarding Vegapunk since the new Seraphim listen to his voice command so he must have some level of authority and connection the WG's resident mad scientist. If so, this could spell a plot for Blackbeard to capture Vegapunk and exploit his knowledge for his own gain just to level the playing field. Can't wait for Vegapunk's full reveal, since Oda used a vague silhouette for him and probably has his final design ready for the right moment, remember Big Mom and Kaido silhouettes before their big reveal? All that time really paid off in making them look super intimidating.

Given that the WG contained a few pirates as strong as and/or stronger than some warlords, I'm afraid in the future they're going to reveal that not all the Seraphim are modeled after the warlords. What I dread most is the day when Luffy and Sabo reunite again and then the WG send in a Seraphim that's modeled after Ace.
What if this time vegapunk instead of just copying the physical traits and adding features, took the dna and created a clone who will cooperate better, all the while having the same physical attributes and power than the original. So what if roger dna (who btw was executed by the marine )was used to create a seraphim version, i think it would be the perfect final challenge for the protagonist

I don’t think the fruit that Momo ate worked on anyone previously and that’s why it was considered a “failure” otherwise there’s no possible way it would have been left there and remained completely ignored just sitting out in an easy broke case by Vegapunk and his world government cronies when they fled and also throughout Dolf Flamingos control especially with someone like Ceasar having full access and control of the lab containing it.

Einstein stumbled by accident with the atomic bomb, what he wanted was help the world with a stronger and more durable source of energy, and yes, he thought that bomb was his worse mistake and even made a letter telling so.
I feel they forced Vegapunk to make the ceraphin children to be easy manipulatable as children as well to increase the warlords abilities and haki. I feel he'll pull something to rebel against the goverment because if he wanted he could give the rebelion's HQ's location since before the time skip because Kuma has an integrated comouter that records everything, so that he knew, he knew, but why didn't act. For me Vegapunk is more than meets the eye.
So there's a kid boa Hancock ok so these new weapons are robots or are they clones? If clones does that mean they have personalities similar to there originals? If so what happens if boa clone meets luffy?
i know this sounds crazy and baseless but what if, Luffy is the creation of Dr.Vegapunk's cloning technique using the blood of former pirate king Roger and modified with Dragon's blood, it makes Luffy is Ace's litteral blood brother and the clone of Gol D Roger. since there is zero mention or hint of his mother through out the story from Oda + Garp only mentioned Dragon is the father of Luffy. The prime example is the Seraphims are clones of the warlords, i don't see why cloning Gol D Roger himself isn't impossible.
There must be a reason behind this other than being "the chosen one" trope either Luffy is the protype of Vegapunk's Seraphim but it does not meet his off the roof requirements or Dragon commissioned Vegapunk to create Luffy with a goal in mind of raising Luffy for the Revolution Army while Garp took care and trained him to become a great asset for the Marines. But since Shanks came into Luffy's life, both Garp's and Dragon's plan might be incoveniently thwarted by Red Hair, thus brewing that same Roger's mindset of being a pirate into Luffy's head.
what i meant is Luffy could be the clone of Roger by Vegapunk but not a carbon / 1 on 1 copy of him, thanks to Shanks's influences on Luffy, Roger's will of freedom continues to live in Luffy's mind.

Hm, i have just two Questions about them:
1. If the Seraphim really are supposed to be copies and replacements of all of the 7 Warlords, then which ones has most likely been and hasn’t been copied?
2. If the Seraphims really do have Souls, could it be possible for at least one of them to defect from the Marines and the World Government, for whatever reason? Like meeting Luffy for example? Or something like that?
Here is something. I do not think that these new Pacifistas will be restricted to Warlords. The Warlords were all powerful, but some more so than others. Outside Mihawk, Jinbei, Hancock and Kuma, every other Warlord was mediocre at best in terms of physical prowess. Gecko Moriah and Crocodile are rather weak in the physical department even when you do consider both of them probably know haki, but relied too heavily on their devilfruits. Buggy is obviously just absolutely useless without his devilfruit. Weevil is probably one of, if not the physically strongest out of all of the Warlords when it comes to sheer strength but shows no real signs of being a skilled fighter otherwise and required orders from his mother to really function. Not including Blackbeard because the man barely spent any time in the system.
Considering that there is really only Five warlords who are physically powerful, safe to assume that they will either pull out more past warlords, OR we will see clones of other pirates who either fought or died during major events involving the World Government.
The possibilities of One Piece are truly and magnificently endless. If OP can balance it's power scaling, and bring back that early comedic and dramatic nostalgia of Luffy and his crew, then OP can definitely take the crown of the Big 3. The games produced need a better design and gameplay... the hack and slash it has isn't eye-catching personally. Is there a navigation/sailing mini side quests in any of the games like battling sea monsters, pirate ships and marines??? If a new open world is develop we should be able to cruise through different parts of the Grandline islands by the routes we take
I don’t believe the seraphim are as incredible and powerful as you make them seem, his Kuma’s couldn’t even survive one hit from those truly powerful and fell drastically in power compared to Luffy training for just two years and learning haki. Then they were basically no threat at all, so I doubt the seraphim he created are as strong as real ones would be just like in the real Kuma compared to the copies.
