Mass can be such a peaceful, calming thing. In Scotland the tradition is to get married in the Bride’s parish. Though logistically Northern Ireland might be better depending on how many guests there are and where they’re travelling from.

I have been following your videos from a very long time, but have never given my comments.
All I can say to you is you are a very brave girl and Matt is truly a beautiful soul.
You both suit each other so well, and he supports you in every way so patiently.
I am proud you are a Sri Lankan as I am too, and have also gone through much in life. But fear not for God is with you and He will see you through in your life's journey.
You are truly blessed with a wonderful and beautiful mother.
Keep your head up and be positive in all you take to do.
I have been praying for you from the day I knew you were having cancer. But God is in control and you are not alone in the cancer journey. There are many who go through much.
So happy to know you both got engaged and wishing you great but a simple planning for your nuptial.
My blessings to you both Tiffany & Matt. Taking it a moment at a time and ask God to direct your steps.
Lastly let me give you a little tip. If you are printing out invitations, give the first invitation to God. You may leave the first invitation at the Blessed Sacrament if you do have it in your church. You will see God's hand in every step of the way.

I think you have a really good attitude by being positive, and looking back it’s hard to believe how far you’ve come. I find some pics and videos hard to see, I’m glad I have them but don’t want to see them, I don’t want to set myself off crying!

When the time is right - chose your colors for your wedding and reception (a color or blend that makes you smile.) I can imagine your tables having candles on them since you LOVE candles -creating a beautiful ambiance vibe along with your flowers. There are so many angles you can go but if you find yourself going back to certain pictures that catch your heart, narrow it down to those and you will enjoy the experience and avoid the wedding rabbit hole. When it comes down to your precious wedding dress try on a few different silhouettes instead of fixating on one set shape to find the best compliment for your body, mind and soul.

My only advice would be to enjoy your wedding. I had been in 2 weddings before I married. I found it sad to see my best friends very stressed and overwhelmed making sure everything during reception was on schedule or stressing that something didn't happen. Weeks later they had said they didn't remember any of it because they were so stressed out, I didn't like this because this is supposed to be your special day.
I had a very simple wedding and reception where my husband and I enjoyed ourselves and our friends. I didn't have a fancy wedding at all. I'm not saying to do the same, just make sure you make it about each other and don't worry about pleasing everyone else because what really matters is that this is your special day.
Thank you for that advice! I'm getting married in 10 days. It's not going to be a big wedding, only about 50 people, but I'm feeling myself getting stressed about the little things. I need to just focus on the fact that we're going to have a good time with our family members and close friends. So if someone sits at the wrong table at the reception, so what? They're still there. LOL

Tiffany, I have some pictures of myself from a very difficult time in my life, and I don't like looking at them, either. It brings back memories of that hard time, and how awful I felt. I am glad not to be in that position now, though.
I have also had that experience of meeting and talking to someone really lovely that I felt such a connection with. And I have regretted not asking for their number, or email. Sometimes I think we cross paths with someone at a particular time for a special reason, and maybe we aren't meant to carry on and have an ongoing friendship. If it's meant to be, then God will cross our paths again. Sometimes I think, too, that maybe that person needed to hear something from me they needed in that moment.
I understand that feeling of regret, though. A feeling of missed opportunity! Maybe you will run into each other again, since you live in the same area. If it's meant to be, God will arrange it!

Matt is Irish he would love potatoes. We eat alot of potatoes here in our house as well. But we are seniors so I make many types of potatoes. I think Lamb is very British and Irish Scottish as well. Not many Canadians eat lamb. I do not like it. I hope you had a lovely Birthday. My beautiful white blonde blue eyed grandson had his 3rd Birthday with yours on the 15th.

Tiffany I work at Walmart as my semi retirement job, and I'm at the door checking receipts. Well I talk to hundreds of people a day, and some of the customers, I vibe with so well. When that happens I let them know how I feel, like we are on the same page with a lot of issues and maybe we could exchange numbers sometime and talk. Most will say, yes, I feel that too and we either exchange numbers right then and there or possibly another visit or two. After all we don't know them, nor do we know what their life is all about, nor do we even know the journey they are on. I know it's scarey to put yourself out there, but remember it's ok to step out of our comfort zone❤You might make new life long friendship❤

Tiffany, I definitely think you should have asked for her number! The same exact thing happened to me when I was pregnant. I ran into the sweetest girl at the Dr's office. We were both pregnant and there was just something about her. We definitely just clicked! We talked and talked the entire time, which was amazing because we were there for quite some time. You just know when you connect with someone. We laughed and had so much in common. I have regretted not getting her number ever since and it's been years ago. I still think about her. I love going to church, I go to a Church of England church in Croydon and I just feel so much gratitude for the things god has given me, my life is very simple, I have a long term health condition and some other problems but I’m grateful for my family and everything I have.
