I may have a dumb question here: does the florist team also break-down the floral part of the event too ( especially the non-wedding events)? Do you often receive the flower vases etc... back? If so, how do you arrange to get those things back?

Those are excellent questions, djk0125tube! It really depends on what was negotiated for the event. Sometimes the team providing florals is contracted just to set up and do flowers ahead of time. Other times the team will return at the end of the event to break down things as needed. The same holds true for picking up hard goods like vases. It really depends on what is negotiated ahead of time, and the contract may say that the clients can keep the vases so there doesn't have to be a pick up at the end of the event. A second visit to the venue really requires a second charge, and it may also interfere with another wedding or celebration the floral designer is doing that day as they often have more than one contracted during busy wedding season. I have a couple of questions:
Fox Glove and Hellebore are they line flowers?
Lilly of Vally Bush and Snow Berry are they filler flowers?
Those are excellent questions, Tracey! Lily of the valley bush (also known as pieris) and snow berry are more filler flowers because they have clusters that take up space. Foxglove would be more of a line flower for its tall stem. Although they can be taller, hellebores would be more of a form flower with an interesting shape that adds something eye-catching to the design. We hope this information helps.
