      I've installed thousands of HD's and SSD's since 1996 and I have never broken a HD Connector and on old computers they fit extremely tight! Not sure what one has to do to break one of those but it has to be pure negligence.

    • @NikMitchell
      @NikMitchell Před 7 měsíci

      @@theINQBS I haven't either - but they are designed to stay put once connected. Disconnecting them is always tricky. It's like they spent more time designing the connector's closed position to be fierce than actually trying using them in practice. Exposed connectors never help either, also an easy thing to screw up if you aren't careful. Not everyone's a pro, but these connectors in general are poorly designed.
      PATA was a better connector design than SATA (though bent pins on one side of the hard drive were pretty common to find from people not pulling them out straight).

    Always claiming that they didn’t open up their units, to discovering broken traces, dried flux everywhere, and warped/burnt PCB caused by excessive soldering. It’s always idiots dropping their consoles, breaking the HDMI port and using random CZcams videos as reference without any experience using equipment, much less steady hands.
    I don't have the patience to deal with customers that claim, “the customer is always right,” when they clearly lied through their teeth.

    I was trying to clean my psvita the other day, I opened it up and tore the battery connector just like this ps4 😢 I watched the video to see if it is easy to fix but doesn’t look like it. Rip my ps vita
