Odisha Bike Trip 2022 on Hunter 350 || Mahendragiri to Brahmapur via Taptapani

On the return journey with our new Hunter 350 bike from the second highest peak of Odisha, Mahendragiri, the plan was to stay over night at the Tibetan Bungalow in Chandragiri, the 'Little Tibet of Odisha' (72 km from Mahendragiri) and visit the nearby place like Khasada waterfall and Jeerago Monastery. But we could not get any accommodation there. So we moved on to Taptapani (another 35 km) to stay at the OTDC Panthanivas. But we were out of luck today. OTDC Panthanivas no more exists in Taptapani and has been replaced by a lavish private resort named Taptapani Spring Resort. We had to change our plan completely and come down to to Brahmapur at the costal side of south Odisha. The journey was full of adventure, enjoyment and uncertainty through one of the remotest and least visited hilly areas of Odisha. গতকাল রাতেই শুয়ে শুয়ে ভাবছিলাম সুদুরের পিয়াসীদের কথা। রবিবারেই পেয়ে গেলাম। মনপ্রান জুড়িয়ে গেল। অজানা অচেনা ওরিশাকে আপনারা চিনিয়ে দিচ্ছেন। অপরূপ প্রকৃতি, দূর্দান্ত চিত্রগহন ও ধারাভাষ্য- দুশ্চিন্তায় জর্জরিত মনটা অনেক শান্ত করে দিল। নানা অসুবিধাকে 'কুছ পরোয়া নেহি ' - এই ভাবে হারিয়ে এগিয়ে চলা, জীবনের নানা ক্ষেত্রে অনুসরণ যোগ্য। অনেক ধন্যবাদ আপনাদের। আপনাদের যাত্রাপথে প্রতি মুহূর্তে থাকবে আমার শুভকামনা

একজন প্রকৃতি প্রেমিক ভ্রমন পিপাসু হিসেবে বেড়ানোর নেশা এক সময় আমারও ছিল কিন্তু সময়ের স্রোতে এখন অতীত হয়ে গেছে।
