me and my ex dated for almost three months, not that long, i know, but he pressured me into saying i love you WAY too early. i really did see the signs, and i really did ignore them. there were so many red flags from the start. i never got butterflies when we kissed or did anything together, and he got very distant a month into the relationship. of course, i liked him, but it just felt so off. i decided to break things off after multiple people were telling me he was going to publicly break up with me. i did it one morning before our classes started. i did it privately and i wasn't rude about it in any way. i then later found out he was going around telling people he "got what he wanted so it didn't matter if we ended or not anyways", and that he only "used me for head". he was going around spreading nasty things about me, about my BODY. he told people i smelled bad down there, and said things i don't even want to repeat. he called me controlling and told the guys in our grade to not date me. he completely tore down my confidence. i'm not longer comfortable in my own body, and i often feel disgusted with myself. i'm scared that nobody will ever like me again, and that i have no chance with anyone anymore. my entire self worth has been shattered by him. this song means so much to me, and i can relate with every single lyric in it. i really did need to lose him to start loving myself again.

i had a toxic best friend (lets call her ella) we did everything together, i mean we became best friends when we were 7 & 8. i thought we had the *perfect* friendship, but it was the opposite of that. i thought it was normal for a friend to call you fat and ugly, she brainwashed me into thinking we had an amazing friendship.
a few years ago one of my older best friends asked me how ella and i's friendship was doing, and i told her about all the things we did together, and even told her that she called me names, i thought it was funny, but when she didn't laugh, and instead frowned and hugged me, i knew something was wrong.
she said that ella was a bad friend, and that i needed to get her out of my life. i was just in 6th grade, and confused. so i didn't drop her, and let her control me. it hurt me so fucking bad, i started to get anxiety and stopped eating because i thought i needed to lose weight, because of how much she called me fat.
finally in 7th grade i dropped her, and i became happy but something just felt wrong. so i went back to her, a few months later i dropped her again, and then 3 weeks later we were friends again.
we went back and forth for 2 years, then when COVID happened, i realized that i *needed* to drop her, otherwise i would just hurt more, and she would control me more. so i dropped her, and finally found myself.
i realized that i was beautiful, and i was bisexual (she told me that i was straight, and only that). then COVID got even worse, and my mental health got worse, and i started to self-harm and stopped eating again.
but what i did next i regret...
i went back to her, she told me she had changed, and she was a better person. dumb 13 year old me believed her, and we were friend again.
at first she was a different person, in a good way, and i thought she really changed.
we then went into high school together, and she was sweet and i thought that a break was all we needed.
then, she did something that i will never forget....
she hit me when we got into a fight.
that's when it hit me, she didn't change.
she manipulated me.
in that moment i didn't have time to cry, i just ran off and shouted
"NEVER TALK TO ME AGAIN"
now, i am going to be 15 in 3 days, and am happy as ever. at first it hurt me because i was left with all the memories she left me with, but i didn't let that stop me.
to everyone who has a toxic friend
leave them, don't trust them, they may say they have changed, but they didn't and it may hurt for a few weeks after leaving them, but it is best for you

Yeah Justin ruined their relationship though.
