Recently saw a scene in a TV series taking place in an emergency room, and thinking of your channel got me wondering how that's accomplished. The body on the operating table may be an actor (or a dummy, obviously can go either way), but it's things like blood (we didn't see inside the body so no organs were shown), surgeons tools and portable machinery I'm wondering about.
I don't know what exact blood you mean, but there's this cool chemical reaction that my professor told us was used in the movie industry, but I have no idea if that's the case. Anyway, it's the reaction of SCN- and Fe3+, it creates blood red complex and it does look pretty convicing. So apparently that's how they make cuts in movies. Or perhaps did. Who knows, wtill kinda cool.
