How to Swaddle a baby | The Super Swaddle Method to help babies sleep longer!

- I’ve been using this Super Swaddle method for Everly and it’s been working great for us! If you have a baby who can break out of their swaddle, give this method a try! This swaddling technique will ensure that even the busiest baby can't escape from the swaddle! It gives babies the tight and secure feeling that they know and love from the the womb. Putting your newborn into the super swaddle can help them sleep longer and deeper than than if they are swaddled normally or in a loose sleep sack.
All you need is a large swaddling blanket and a receiving blanket. In this video I am using a large Aden and Anais Muslin blanket. And of course, a little bitty baby!

Thank God this worked for my daughter. She’s so strong and breaks out the regular swaddle.….But this swaddling method was the best. She was screaming and crying hysterically, kicking and everything . But once I tried this swaddling method. She instantly became quite and fell asleep. Thank you so much ! A total game changer.

You are a life saver my newborn son NEVER lets me put him down. Didnt have that with my daughter she always had an independent attitude lol. Hes also strong and always get out of his swaddle and spits his pacifier out with this he finally stayed put and he didnt need his pacifier

Best video I’ve seen! I had to use preswaddled swaddles with my son because I couldn’t get the swaddling down but i have so many blankets I’m going to try again with my next!

Will try this. Omg my baby would not let me put her down! Everytime I do she starts kicking and fighting with her arms and legs sometimes I feel as if she’s having a seizure or something then I pick her up and she’s fine!

This technique is magical. I tried regular swaddling and my baby fights it almost every time. and tonight it is 1:17 AM and my baby has been fighting this nested bean and I literally was like oh my god this is hopeless. I don’t think she ever wants to be swaddled but I know that’s not true because sometimes whenever I can get a really good swaddle on her she’ll fall asleep and there are times where she willingly lets me swaddle her. she doesn’t fight me at all and with a big smile on her face. so I knew there’s something. she likes being swaddled but I don’t know how she likes to be swaddled right. So, find you your video and I take this girl out of her nest bean after she’s been screaming. Tried your swaddle and now she is over here staring at me smiling and quiet. not fighting, not screaming.smiling. It’s been 30 minutes and not a peep. thank you so much for sharing this.

No just a regular bamboo swaddle.

Yes, the bottom triangle folds up over the shoulder.
What size are the receiving blankets ?
The main one is a large Muslin blanket (Aden and Anais) and the one that holds her arms down is just a small flannel receiving blanket.

All of that blanket balled up behind them can't feel very good.
You just have to be careful to smooth it out. She loved being swaddled this way!
She has clearly mentioned to smooth out the back. I have tried this with my child as well and it has been a life saver! When it works for bub, it works for mum. I hope you found a technique that worked for you.

No it isn’t, it’s totally fine until about 8 weeks old or when they get close to rolling.
