When I was 17 (2009) I meant to get arrested but it didn’t go as planned.
I had no idea back then how hard it was to become a Criminal in California.
Back then I was depressed and wanted to leave home for awhile no matter how many years it would be I wanted to be far away from Mother.
I stole gum at a Rite Aid and waited a long time in back of the store because the Cop was on his Lunch break.
He read me my rights and then handcuffed me and took me to the car.
He went back inside the store for awhile then he came back and started typing for awhile.
Then when we went to that place I don’t know what it’s called I had my prints taken and my mug shot taken and a needle in my arm.
I was taken into a room till my Mom got off work to take me home.
I don’t remember how long it took but I finally got to talk to the Probation Officer but she said the Court was too busy for me.
I just got caught stealing and was kicked out, they made me put back the stolen items and escorted me out. they asked where i parked and i lied and walked off the property leaving my car, and coming back for it later. They didn't take my name but if they check my license plates on me coming in, could they get my info and arrest me? Im scared man. I need help.

@@YoursDadsMomDaddy i’ve been stealing for 6 months, and they have it all on camera. They brought a list of everything i stole and it came out to 1.2k but they rounded to 1.5k, since it’s a large amount it’s a felony, and they want to press charges

I am being charged with 1st degree petty theft (only $142 in stuff) as well as it being ky 1st offence, i was given a notice to appear. I have no clue what to expect in court.
I slipped a pair of shorts into my other shopping bags on accident not realizing they were the shorts. Got stopped by the security and went through all the steps. Got taken in the back to do paperwork, cops came and got a court date along with paying double the amount of the shorts. This is my first time being accused of something like this. I am 19. It was also not in my current living state. I do not know what to do expect. Need clarification? I am embarrassed

i got caught shoplifting in georgia , i stole 100 dollars worth of stuff but they didn’t arrest me the day of because of covid , i have court but i’m scared of what’s going to happen ? this is my first time
In GA they give you the chair! They place you in a chair and urinate on your face.

@@milessyvertsen6800 they basically made me take a online class pay 300 dollars and do 20 hours of community service and now it’s expunged off my record being that i’m a first time offender

I got arrested for stealing some suet and a suet feeder and a bag of peanuts. It was about 18 dollars worth of merch. I live in Iowa. My court date is coming up. What can I expect? I hope I don’t have to do jail time. It is my first time offense and I have no criminal background.

What happened if you didn’t mean too and accidentally forgot to scan a small laundry basket. I tryed to do the right thing and have someone bring me back to store so I could pay for it. But they didn’t I still feel guilty. And happens a year ago nothing happened
I stole hoop earrings from target last year, I just got a letter for a court appointment. I am 13. I don’t know why i did it. My appointment is Augest 3.

Hello sir. So, a situation happened, if it's a 1st offense, theft from a store, but they aren't 100% sure technically but I saw swat being called and phone calls following me till i went to pay i bought half the stuff, but they saw few items I claimed they were mine from before I wanted to return them manager offered to help but I saw many works talking about me and 2 swat but when I went with her the swat didn't look at me at all, when she wasn't looking i left and ran home suprsingly no one followed me or anything but I ran outside, they have my receipt still.
Would you say they were scaring me so I don't come back or they gonna review footage and find me idk, or fingerprint any advice? Thank you very much.
For now never doing it again, never going to that store again, laying low at home for 2 weeks perhaps change credit card

@rahsintern so far nothing I heard lots of cops around Mr like crazy 1 day few days ago but may have been paramedics too nothing in the mail or talked to me never going there though maybe in a year
@rahsintern idk though still get anxiety they gonna find me later it's still hasn't been 2 weeks so idk if by 1 or 2 months I'll be in the clear

i stole a $5 blind bag from a toy store in april. they’re pressing charges. i’m 15 and have since gotten a job. my court date is august 30th

I have court tomorrow for petit larceny bc my friend was with me and got caught stealing well they told me to pay my fine and do community service I paid the fine but I can’t do the community bc of my hand and I was homeless for 3 months I couldn’t do the community service I’m scared and idk what to do
@Phillip: It sounds like this is outside of WA state. This is not legal advice, but it may be a good idea to ask your lawyer what to do and if you do not have one, ask the court to appoint you one. Often times courts will allow a continuance for a lawyer to get up to speed. If so, it may be possible to do community service in a way that does not require your hand. The best thing to do is talk to your lawyer or get one, even a court appointed one (a public defender). Thanks for watching.

In California? Absolutely nothing. In fact, you can shoplift to your heart’s content all day long as long as each incident is up to and under $950 and nothing will ever happen to you. Hopefully you will OD soon though. Carry on!
